In as much as i like to see the good side of things but i believe this guy is just being scape goated for a reason because many others have crossed into this country. The simple fact that he was detected at the Beirut airport is an indictment on the Nigerian immigration system that issued that visa. If he can be detected despite using a forged passport with different name at the airport, then the system that wrongfully issued him such visa needs to be investigated.

Don't be surprised! The truth is that the emergence of PMB as President has really turned some youths into slowpoke: they lack objective thinking and their mental horizon has been sent to Otueke with Jonathan.

Imagine what an embassy has done: this singular act has potential to further bastardise our international reputation. Instead for youths to mount pressures on this present administration even if he fails to, here we are hearing somebody saying BUhari is too dull for making attempt to probe the embassy that issued the reported fake international passport.

We have a long way to go in this country.

The Nigerian government has ordered a full investigation into how a wanted terrorist was granted Nigerian Visa in Lebanon to visit the country.
An official of the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign affairs told Vanguard in Abuja, Tuesday evening, that President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to investigate the circumstances surrounding the issuance of Visa to the wanted terrorist‎ who has been on the wanted list of several governments.

It would be recalled that a radical Muslim cleric, Ahmad al-Assir was arrested by Lebanese authorities as he attempted to leave Lebanon to Nigeria via Cairo.

He was said to have arrested while attempting to travel with a fake Palestinian passport with a valid Nigerian Visa‎ at the Beirut’s Rafik Hariri International Airport early Saturday, August 15, 2015 in Lebanon.

According to the official of the ministry of foreign affairs who spoke with Vanguard on the condition of anonymity, the ministry of foreign affairs has been directed to explain how the wanted terrorist was able to get Nigerian Visa.

You digressing. Remember the bone of contention here is the "sleeper cell" theory. And I took the other guy on over his obvious hate towards the President. According to him, Lagos was the ISIS suspect's destination, the same thing you assumed.

If indeed he was to meet with some cell mates here in Nigeria, it wouldn't be Lagos because Boko Haram's territory does not have such range. He can only be hosted in a cell which is close to the North.

By the way, an average Lagosian would raise an eyebrow over such beard, and to think that he's a foreigner would easily make him a suspect.

Time to suspect new faces with strange movement and absurd mission. The man in pic is a replicate of terrorism. May all of them fail in their deadly acts and mission. He is one of the beasts terrorising the world, and may not be the only one that has entered into the country. Time to suspect some politicians and religious leaders, they are the ones that can host and cater for this kind of dangerous foreigners.

Anybody that is telling Nigerians that insurgency will end any time soon, it's only deceiving the Nigerian people. The Nigerian people should learn how to manage the situation. We completely lack what it takes to eradicate insurgency in Nigeria(I refuse to mise words on this). I don't care what anybody think about this post.

Anybody can hold Nigerian passport and visa as long as you have your cash, give a custom officer good money and they will assist you to clear your arms and give you escort to your warehouse, give the officers at our border some money and they will give way for Shakau and his men. The Nigerian people are the greatest enemies of Nigeria. What are we not saying! who is deceiving who in this Country? How did we get here? the love of Country is dead. The people that are killing us are leaving with us and amongst us yet we are silent.

For this man to have attempted to come to Nigeria means that we already have ISIS members in Nigeria.

So true, I have always wondered why nigerian muslims have not spoken out iN ONE VOICE against boko haram. Until they all come out(both followers and clerics) and condem this terrorists, no muslim should say islam doesn't support violence.
