Good Day Bro Justwise. My partner has withdrawn his application because of his PMP Exam. Since we are yet to book an appointment, I decided to fill another application since I mentioned I was traveling with my partner in Previous application. Hope this is permissible because I was given another GWF reference number. I will do the booking and submit application tomorrow. And also I noticed in this section of the online form 'UK Organisation Section' There are two questions. (1) Who invited you to the UK? first name and family name. I inputted N/A since it is a business visit. Or should I put in the company name in both First name and Family name? (2) What Institution, Business or Organisation will you visit? I inputted correctly the company's name and address. Please forgive me if I bother you so much because I know you have been so helpful in this question even though you have answered it before. What is the cost to you personally of your trip in GBP(£)? I inputted 200 GBP because I will spend that from my own personal account which I am submitting and not the company's account for the trip. The company's account will take care of accommodation, feeding, air plane ticket, transportation totaling 1,200 GBP. Please if it is ok, let me quickly pay for appointment. BREAKDOWN (1)What is the cost to you personally of your trip in GBP(£)? 200 (2)The total amount of money you have for this trip 1309 (3)The cost of the aeroplane, boat or train tickets 774 (4)The cost of your accommodation 165 three days (5)The cost of your living expenses 170 My Company is paying for the trip. (6)How much will they be paying towards your trip (in GBP £)? 1109 (7)What is the total amount in GBP(£)? 1109 Don't get offended that I asked again for the last time. I just want to get it right this time. GOD bless |

| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by iblaw: 11:20am On Aug 20, 2015 |
iyaaliyah:As always, i feel so sad to hear about refusals here but need little clarification. 1. Is N90,000 your actual salary or salary after loan deduction cos refusal letter states you earn N90,000, whats on your payslip? 2. You state the cost of this visit to you personally as 1,555 GBP Why, when you said you stated your husband is your sponsor. There is a part of the form that ask if anyone is paying for part of your trip and that's where you should have stated YES...Husband3. They are not expecting you not to run your account but frown at any huge deposit that's not in line with your earnings unless you have documented evidence/reason for deposit. This is because over time they discover people lodge money in their account for visa application. Did you prove any documents for the extra income you earn? 4. What kind of business is your husband's company into cos the bolded as you asked means the ECO is not satisfied that the company is profitable enough to pay your husband 300k and have such an account balance. |

nunaija:sorry, but which hotel are you booking thats giving you a rate of £25 per night ![]() are you making an actual (unpaid) hotel reservation (which will be submitted with your application) or are you just quoting a random hotel rate? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by Ralphlauren(m): 11:38am On Aug 20, 2015 |
iyaaliyah:as your husband is self-employed, you should have submitted along with the docs listed above invoices/receipts/contract docs of any work done/goods sold to evidence the 300k/income coming into his account. you didnt do that and thats why the ECO is not convinced that the company is actually trading and generating the income you've stated. |

I was wondering too. Never seen such in Central London Am curious to knw wch hotel is this as well. Nunaija, did you make an actual booking? Ralphlauren: |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by Vicjustice: 12:29pm On Aug 20, 2015 |
nunaija:I recommend that you book an actual hotel (or at least a B&B) rather than a hostel: as a Nigerian person, booking a hostel will not look good especially if you are not a teenager. |

FrontPageLawyer:i think you are focusing too much on financials there are other areas you need to cover and also provide supporting documents for example, all your company registration documents, tax clearance, evidence that your company has been consistently trading (including as many previous receipts, invoices, contracts as possible), letter from your company accountant (chartered accountant). do you pay yourself a salary from the business? if yes, you should provide proof of this. if you pay yourself a dividend, this should be provided as well (a letter from your accountant can cover this) a personal statement explaining what your company does, how long its been trading, its registered/trading address, how many employees you've got, your yearly turnover, any profit/losses you've made in the business, the names of the clients that you've provided your services to (you need to include proof of this as well - this could be email conversations, letters, quotes. . .), why you need to go to the UK for the business visit (very important as this days many deals are concluded via email, phone call/skype), a letter from the company inviting you. in summary, you need to prove that your business is genuine and credible as business visas involve a lot of hurdles unlike visiting visas. this is the reason why most business men have normal visit visas and then use it to see their business partners, conclude business deals in UK, etc |

iblaw:HE SUPPLIES LAPTOPS AND IPHONES AND HE MAKES HUGE TRANSFER AND RECEIVES SUCH ALMOST ON A DAILY BASIS. Now, what do you guys think I shld do? This is my second refusal. Husband is applying for the first time although he has valid visas for other countries. I feel I was jugded wrongly or maybe am wrong cos I explained all the monies in my account. I supportrd with document how my salary is less by 20k. I clarified the reason I didnt include a document that made them refused me in 2013 and now added the document. The balance of over 300 k they mentioned, I explained and told them what I planned to do with it. Its not even a one off deposit, it was in deposit of 50k today 100k tommorrow since May. @vicjustice @justwise and all pls let me know where we erred. Thanks @iblaw |

Thank you. We realised that this morning. He has enuf to show but we did not just give it a serious thought. Now, what shld we do? We r planning to write a letter to clarify this considering the fact that they did not consider some issues. The additional info that explained some of this money was there (in my case tho). Or shld we leave till we plan to reapply prolly next year. A friend said we shld write now so that it wld v been on their system and it will make the next officer to look at our application objectively. What do you guys think? Cc. @justwise Ralphlauren: |
