I never knew people do gate crash a job interview till I got on nairaland. Have read several stories of people gate crashing an interview here. For those who don't know what gate crashing an interview means, it means going for an interview you were not invited for, but you find out about the details, maybe from someone who was invited. So I would like to know if there is anybody that has ever gate crash an interview before, or have you gotten a job through an interview you gate crashed. My friend gatecrashed workforce interview and he got the job I once gatecrash Uconnect interview but was given another job role, though I didn't honour it because of the pay. I have gatecrashed two others that worked out well too Gatecrashing is worth it in this Nigeria we are, lots of people are getting job tru it, jus that sometimes, its embarrassing wen they start sending gatecrashers out. Gatecrashing: Never knew a word like that existed...Until I joined Nairaland  my first attempt at gatecrashing was funny, I was so jittery and afraid. Until I became good in it knowing I had to stop dulling to get a job in dis country  I think it was at my 3rd attempt it finally paid off: I got a teaching job after passing thru the normal assessments. It was one of my best paid jobs. I even performed better dan the legitimate invitees in the test and interview. It works if you know how to compose yourself and if you have the liver. But if you happen to meet those employers dat use bouncers to welcome candidates, ur name na OYO, especially if u travelled all the way from Agege to Lekki! My opinion is dat it only works in small companies, don't try it with well established firms, you'd be turned back. 20 Likes 2 Shares |

Interview or aptitude test? Aptitude test yes, but gate crashing interview is almost impossible. Unless its a movie role or a very small firm. You need to be shortlisted first...then interview. 10 Likes |
