Hello, please I wrote the kpmg test (obj and theory) on the 15th August, but am yet to receive a feedback. Shud I keep waiting or I should go ahead with the documentation..

AC means Assessment Centre. Its a crucial stage in the process after tests and documentation. Scan previous pages of this thread...cheers.

First rule dont be nervous. (A good way to kill nervousness is tell yourself you are not bad, if from the myriad of guys who did the tests you were called then you cant be that bad.
Exude confidence...in addition to your being sound academically, be clear, concise and expressive in stages where you need to talk.
Thirdly have a genuine case study in your life that can clearly accentuate any of kpmg competency/values.
Genuine because questions will emanate from ur replies...

These few pointers are in addition to the numerous others on the thread.....you ll be fine!

Is there anyone in my shoes? I got a success mail saying I should come for documentation but I'm currently not in Lagos and the two numbers included in the mail are either not going through or not being picked

1. The whole AC stuff was fine.
2. At the group exercise we were given a case study about a company having issues with sales figures and stuffs like that, we had 20mins to read and also deliberate on the problem and provide answers to it. At the end of the 20mins, we selected a member who presented on our behalf for 5mins..
3.At the personal presentation stage u will be given a question which u will prepare for within 5 mins, at the end of the 5mins u will not be allowed to take in the jottings with u. U will present to at least a panel of 3people. My own topic goes thus "As the newly appointed minister for labour and productivity how will u provide a lasting solution to the problem of unemployment in the country which has made youths indulge in criminal activities and those in the private sector facing job insecurity everyday"
4.There is no critical reasoning test, guess it has been scrapped. Just panel interview, group work, and personal presentation(in that order)
5.As regards my AC as a whole, to the best of my knowledge i did well at the panel interview, i was superb at the personal presentation (i once worked as a teacher so this was easy), but at the end of our group work we were we went off point while trying to solve the case study. The woman told us we were distracted by a useless statement in the question which we worked our asss off trying to solve while we missed d whole point. (i guess that was our undoing)



Four days after i got a regret mail, and i've since moved on. I was grateful the whole AC stuff afforded me opportunity to learn new stuffs and also afforde me the opportunity to meet some of the toughest HR out there

Just to add to what Ajasa already said, critical reasoning is not scrapped. It just depends on the department you chose, for instance if you chose Audit you do your critical reasoning test while on the queue waiting to be interviewed. Also for Audit the Individual presentation comes first.
My advice is to go through the threads of previous years, this thread doesn't really have as much information as theirs.

Don't waste ur time applying for kpmg,they will screen ur certificate very well b4 u even write the test, its either first class, 2.1 or nothing. Just focus on better things ahead, God is definitely preparing something better than kpmg for u.

I scanned since last week Monday and they sent me a mail saying they've received the docs. A friend of mine that wrote the test just on Saturday has already been called for AC
