My friend checked his details (yesterday) on NYSC portal & it reads 'JAMB number doesn't exist, you cannot register...bla bla bla' today, he tried checking again, the portal reads 'No records found, contact your institution'. He already contacted the guy at the SA office in charge of NYSC, but the guy couldn't help.
Please, anybody that knows what the problem is, & how to solve it should help.

one of my course mate experienced dis problem when d list was uploaded "Record not found"...but what i did was to use a nokia fone to check it...and d list came up after 2 trials.

So i'll suggest u retry using another browser.


On the issue on "Jamb no doesnt exit"


if that ur friend did change of course or D.E ...he needs to do d JAMB REGULARIZATION asap.


Reason being dat d data base of NYSC is programmed to cross check d details supplied by schs wit data on JAMB DATA base...every single stroke must match.


And if ur friend did DE or change of course, surely there wud b error because d details wont match again...


So, i'll advise dat u tell ur friend to go for d JAMB REGULARIZATION....it will take almost more than a week....bt with God's grace, he can be favoured and complete it on time...


He will den need to go and submit d new jamb no provided to d Students' affairs/ NYSC unit for replacement and uploading (after validation and thumb print).

He may den recheck NYSC portal...the status will av automatically corrected itself....all this must b dont b4 23:59pm on 7th of Sept.

Our education system is very cruel to students. I'll tell you why....

When you're in SS3, they tell you you need to pass WAEC before you can gain admission into any higher institution. Congrtulations! You did pass....

...Preparing yourself for Uni/Poly, they tell you, 'oh boy! You still need to pass JAMB.' As a young lad, brewing with determination as you are, you took on the challenge, oh! There you are, once again, you passed....

While in the mood of celebration, of battle won...., oh no! They come one more time and this time..., 'you really did well, but a lot of students did well as well. You need to pass post UTME' they exclaimed.
Being who you are, your academic adrenaline wakes up. You battled the questions with all you have left.......

I dont know the modus operandi but i believe dey can effect the change as fast as possible cos they still ve acess to the portal till 7th Sept.

which last batch.....A15?mayb na old meats dem mobilise.......no 2013/2014 set was mobilised for A 15,i fear for B15

Buh if he has done DE or change of institution, regularisation wld be necessary

that change of course he did was d main problem and why he should av done d jamb regularization...


Help him by notifying him dat he should go for d Jamb reg immediately....


If he has any link wit Jamb ICT staff it would take just 24 hours....without dat, he should just budget a week...


Remember all must b done b4 8th of sept.

see it is dat Abuja office dat can do it now...just go straight there...


it is 4k to 5k bt just hold 6k to 7k and bribe if u av to to fast track tins...


Check d office address on d web it is somewhere around buwari abi na how dem dey spell am...check online sha..



Wen d no is generated, send it to him to go to cafe where they register for jamb...


Den goto www.jamb.org.ng


look to d right click on REGULARIZATION



then input d Jamb no...and validate...fill d form, thumb print...scan a passport of not more than 15kb to it....then submit...then still on same site, click on YEAR 2010....click "Check admission status"


then get "admission letter printing scratch card" and still on same 2010, print d admission letter..



Then go and replace and re-upload d new jamb no @ d sch SA/Nysc unit...den go back to nysc portal and recheck.

All must b done before 8th of Sept.
