Adesina was serving as Nigeria’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development before being elected, was widely recognized as a Minister who stood out in terms of excellence during the Jonathan regime. Dr. Adesina is now the 8th President of the African Development Bank, he was elected on Thursday, May 28. 2015.
