My baby doesn't poo when teething o, no fever. She has two teeths already and the upper two are sprouting already.
My mum told me the secret behind it and I've adhered to.BREASTFEEDING. Breastfed more and more.
Then I make sure I sterilize all sterilize able and I'm very conscious of what goes into her mouth.
May God help us all.

Pls,7months old baby needs more than breastmilk 2 survive o,babies are different as we mothers too are,just know what works 4 ur baby n not what's working 4 others.my experience though...My LO is 8months. she rejected breastmilk from her 1st day of existence,we (DH,MIL,My fam)thought it wont happen but lo n behold,it happened.She has 8 teeth now n has neva been sick 4 once,no sign of teething.She eats all kind of food+ her tombrown which i started when she was 5months. Pls Ma,your baby is unique, just relax,d poo wil stop,it is a phase n it will end in praise.

Ensure ur baby empty one breast b4 d oda and watch ur hygiene too. The pain wil sure go away wit tym,hang in there.

Yes, I tried it like 3 cans. It makes my lo poos after each feed.

Yes, maybe lucky. Not only with teething cos I've given her paracetamol just once in 6months plus.

By breastfeeding more not breast milk alone oo
, she takes cerelac, pap, semo n ewedu, mashed yam and potatoes.
What I mean by more breastfeeding is that the two should be balanced. It has worked well for me and all those who my mum told. Some mothers tend to reduce breastmilk once they know the baby takes anything apart from breastmilk and it's wrong.

Though some babies reject breastmilk cos my neighbour's 3months old baby don't suck, he prefers it expressed in a feeding bottle and that's even if he takes it, he prefers his Nan1 to breast milk and he's doing quite well for a less than 3months old baby.

So this simply means different babies different character. I've only said what works for me and those around me.

it's well with our LOs.

I guess different pple with different method. My son had it at 6weeks and it wasn't on his body alone, it wiped of his hair. I got Nizoral shampoo for 1000naira (as recommended by a friend), when I want to give him his bath, I rub d whole body and head with d Nizoral shampoo, wait for 5-7mins then use same Nizoral on his body and head to bathe him without using any other soap. I did this for one week and d nla was gone but I continued for another one week but reduced it to once a day b4 stopping. His cream was aveeno eczema cream.

The active chemical in Nizoral is 'ketoconazole'. U can look it up online to kno more about it

Also watch what u eat too so as to kno if ur baby is reactin to a certain food.

pls am a first time mum,my baby of 3 months old has been stooling watery poops for like 4 days now.purely on exclusive nd sucks very well,no fever. how do I go abt d stooling stuff so that it can stop.most times uses fingers scratching d gums.don't know if it is teething.pls help.

@missyelo if is less than 5times a day kip on breastfeeding ur baby it will stop.sm babies start teething as early as 3mnths bt is too early 4 him 2 start stooling even if he will jst ensure ur baby hands r clean.

Mothers!my 22month old baby has been stooling since yesterday,the stool has mucus n something like a little blood in it.I took her to the hospital we were given zinc tablet,ORT,and chloranphenical suspension,but she is still stooling.My neighbours that saw it say its jedi-jedi,nurse kaffy4bill n other mama',please any idea?

Was trying to poop ytday bt I noticed it ws strong and could not come out. I've massaged his stomach, gave water to drink yet nothing. Please how can I help him?

Any change in ur diet recently? Also make sure his hands n surroundings r clean.

Secondly, I m having difficulty potty training my 18month old. I guess I started late. BT wen I started initially, he ll just sit for a few seconds, get up and carry d potty. Nw, its difficult cos in d mornings I don't HV DAT tym as I prepare him for school and myself for work. Any input, abi mk I just wait it out?

Pls don't make them swallow it even though children's toothpaste contains less fluoride. I put a bean size on the brush and clean their teeth, then encourage them to spill it out.

It's not easy potty training a child when one is not with them all day. But getting a very colorful potty for my LOs sort of motivated them to use the potty.

In addition to massaging the tummy, lie him flat on the bed and move his legs in circular motion as if you're riding a bicycle..
You can also use your finger to spread his b bum & pour warm water directly
On his anus( old wives tale but it works )

1. Consider switching to another kind of cereal ( oatmeal or wheat) cos rice cereal is low in fiber.
2. Ensure you mix the cereal with adequate water. Don't make it too thick.
3. I think you should consider waiting till 6months to start solids. He's system would be better prepared for it.
