Going back to our first eqn; x+y=15
Substitute x ; (y-1)+y=15
2y-1=15
2y=16
:. Y= 8
From eqn x=y-1 substitute y;
X=8-1=7
Therefore, z= 87 answer

Sorry from eqn one; 10x +y =z
10(7) +8= 78, the former conclusion was wrong
