Re: Flash Back: Osinbajo Promises Free Meal For Students by CriticalThought: 10:10pm On Sep 02, 2015
It is because we have mostly uneducated masses thats why our politicians can get away with this

They want to give out "free" money while at the same time telling you there is no money in FG account

The minute you do that, there is no more incentive to work

As a side note ,where was the money going to come from, take more oil abi with low prices or print more and let our currency be useless? tchewww

This is a typical example of a disrespectful and uncivil individual, who is displaying attributes of a tyrannical APC supporter. The individual, does not know that there is appropriate evidence that shows elements of their party making the said promises alongside the timeline clause. For example, did the President not make a covenant with the people on the declaration of his financial status to the public. Where is the newspaper that shows the numbers displaying such an information. An Ivory tower organization, that is not ready to wake up from their nightmare.
Why don't we stop beating about the bush.. show me the evidence of the 100 days, I will show you video evidence of where buhari specifically debunked the 100 days timeline before the election.

It is risky to take a definite position when you are not sure. It is referred to as the arrogance of ignorance and like you may or may not know, ignorance is never an excuse.
The president was the first to make that promise of free meals to students.
Please I want you to make your research with special focus on PMB's speech at Chatham house, and apologise to this forum.
Or tell us that you insist on your earlier position.

Thank you.

Let the APC answer this, did the President promise the electorate a full declaration of all its assets, in the public domain. And if so, has the President made good on this promise.

Interestingly, we even have evidence that the president said it. And it's in neither audio nor in print but in VISUAL.

The same reason why the APC always failed to see two steps ahead of the plans of the PDP. If the individual can not understand the direction or importance of my question, then I rest my case.

Did APC say they will provide free meals within 100 days? Why not just give this people time?
Gosh, that's why I didn't contest to be the president, Nigerians want stuff done overnight.

Hmmm..
Wait oo.. This is Vice President making promises, not President Ooo.. cheesy
VP and president ran on a joint ticket. Or does VP have another agenda unapproved by his boss and party? What kind of chaotic party would that be? shocked sad At these rate, CPC elements will soon accuse ACN elements of making all the false promises. Siddon look.

When we the noblemen of GEJites were sounding the notes of warning to the then incoming Behemoth party called APC as a lying group of desperados, they (APC goons) branded us haters and all sorts of names......at last we have been vindicated. Right from infighting at the Senate, House of Reps, lopsided appointments, denial of election promises, biased probes of corrupters down to gross insecurity in the Northeast despite borrowing billions of Naira to stop Boko Haram, we know the story today.
Gej's fukup full basket. So he gave us no choice.
Well let him not come back again. I don't regret not voting him. The immigration dead in Abba Moro tenure would have turned in their graves.

It's time we consider voting by individuals not by party . Fuk pdp, Fuk Apc. who's next?

The truth is that I am tired of the idiocy of this present opposition.... Every time I read about this issue, I keep wondering why these wailers always fail to acknowledge the 100 days aspect in the word of Lai Mohammed.

Even a video evidence is on youtube of Buhari himself saying well before the elections that there's nothing like 100 days promise, yet some people still jump about wailing and arguing like brainless folks. I don tire!

Jonathan, Reason We Can't Give School Kids Free Meal Or Pay N5,000 Monthly- APC

The All Progressives Congress, APC has blamed former President Goodluck Jonathan for the party's inability to fulfill its campaign promises.
In a Sunday statement issued by APC National Publicity secretary, the party said if Jonathan had not looted funds, it would have been able to do more than basically fulfilling its campaign promise.

''They say we are yet to fulfil our campaign promises to Nigeria, but they have forgotten that if only the PDP/Jonathan Administration had not stolen Nigeria blind, there would have been more than enough money to give school children in Nigeria not just one but three meals a day and even pay 5,000 Naira to 50 million most vulnerable Nigerians, not just the 25 million we promised in our manifesto,'' APC said.

I really do not know why Nigerians are so unreasonable, I read many comments and posts in many social forum including Nairaland where we display high level of comprehension deficiencies even our national dailies on APC and their 100 days promises.

The issues was that the APC and the Presidency NEVER deny those promises as insinuated but that they NEVER PROMISED TO DELIVER ANY PROMISE WITHIN 100 DAYS IN OFFICE. The only one I ever know of was forming the cabinet before September ending.

I think after corruption, sound and productive education is next biggest problem of our dear country as there are a lot of educated illiterates many of whom are in their mastery and doctorate levels.

Is it the understanding of the English language that is your problem?... or is it hate that has blocked your sense of comprehension?

it would have been able to do more than basically fulfilling its campaign promise.
They say we are yet to fulfil our campaign promises to Nigeria
Can you please explain how/why you have interpreted these 2 statements to mean denial of promise?...
Even the VP just spoke yesterday about the government's committment to go ahead with the school feeding programme.
https://www.nairaland.com/2572186/buhari-give-primary-school-pupils

Lai mohamed only denied that there was a timeline of 100 days to commence the programme.

So I ask, what is even wrong with you guys?... Are you doing this on purpose just for lack of what to criticise or is it that your hate for the present administration (which is less than 100days) has eroded your objectivity?
