What you listed are not tribes but dialects in Ibo tribe. Afor is an ibo dialect spoken by the people of Ovoko, Obolo and other villages in Nsuka.

But Kanuri for example example is spoken by 7 million people in Nigeria. That is more than population of Anambra and Ebonyi combined. 3.5 million people speak Nupe. 2 million speak Igala including the people of Nzam and Igbariam, Anambra East Local Government.

For example,the imbaise are identified by their spoken dialect,they are an ethnic group in IMO state.
