Can you see how the world is? When feminism started and feminists said a woman doesn't have to be married, men felt insulted and rejected hence they would threaten those feminists with lonely old age. Now that men are begining to agree that truely you don't have to be married and are begining to be bold about their decisions, one would have thought feminists would cheer them up and say "finally, the change we called for, is here". But no! They are the ones now feeling insulted and unwanted and are begining to threaten men with lonely old age.

Anyway, i feel there is no reason for all these fight. The human being had got it right in the past. But because certain things went wrong at a point, there came intellectual gender activism, which created an artificial system that is just good and sound on paper and strong enough to bully and intimidate the other gender, but lacks practical application, therefore, making itself unfit to harmonize with the human being.

I hope you, @cococandy, can now understand and maybe feminism can drop its agenda to make it a default that women should old monopoly of reproduction. You can't use the fact that you are the one who carries the baby to shut the man out of reproductive decisions and tell him to his face he has no say in wether his child will be born or not. Just as you are feeling insulted and rejected after hearing Don Jazzy's bold statement, you would also feel short-changed, insulted and denied if the tables were turned around on reproductive rights.

I use to be on you people's side even more fanatical than FrancisTony. But the first time i heard from a feminist, a male for that matter, that men should not have a say in wether their child will be born or not, i was shocked to my bone marrow! When i raised the concern that how then are you not making him a victim of his own inability to carry a child, he said: we should consider it a deformity on our own part! I tried to see if other feminists held the same view and to my surprise, it was the same vile all through! That's when i started re-examining my almost automatic support for you guys.

But like i said, there is no reason for all these fight.

Many Bachelors in their 40's and late 30's even 50's, very successful feel ok going back to an empty house after a day's hardwork. No woman to share your joys and happiness, no children to welcome you with kisses and childish rants, nobody to share your sad moments with.

They sleep very well.

Maybe with a different woman or same one depending on their choice.

Bro, you read my mind like a book. I had been thinking about this for a very long time. Don J's latest abt this confirmed my suspicion. They're both involved in something. Our woman are not so bad for anyone to decide he's not gonna get married. He didn't even mention it was the fear of troubles experienced in marriage made him concluded that way.

They have wasted the best part of their youth on one woman when they really want to enjoy many women.

Intresting thread...Sometimes I think like Don J but also I wonder if my dad didn't marry my mum if I will be here today... Each man for himself but I believe marriage isn't for everybody...

It is either you don't know much about men or you are deceiving yourself.

Most men don't need to feel special*. There might be some few effeminate ones emotionally who do, but many don't.

Men want to fck beautiful women. Many beautiful women. With different looks and body-shape. That is what they want to GO OUT to. They don't mind GOING BACK to a (as you like to call it) "empty" house at the end of the day.

That is what makes men feel special.

It is women that need to feel special.

I go back to 'nothing' at the end of the day, I get to enjoy my evenings as I please.

I know many other men who do likewise.

Marriage is not for everyone, for many it becomes a chore at best and in some cases a punishment.

I do not know what it is like for a man to have to engage with a woman who cannot keep hold of her mouth; who has a need to divulge every last detail of her every action for the day; who has a need to pick and prod at every action and decision that someone else makes.

There are some women who do not behave as such but those women are rare, the majority revert to the above once they get comfortable.
