President Muhammadu Buhari last Saturday fired his Chief Security Officer, Abdulrahman Mani, and requested the State Security Service to redeploy him out of the presidential villa, sources in the presidential villa and the State Security Service, so reports Premium TImes. When approached to speak on the matter, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, refused to say anything, but he rather directed all enquiries on the matter to the State Security Service. The said CSO was no longer in the service of the President, he was initially redeployed to Ebonyi, before he was compulsorily retired along Forty other affected staffers. His crime was, sticking to laid down rules and regulations, and following protocol in the dispensation of his duties.
