Mamas pls help me with suggestions/what to use that won't affect my lo,dis toothache is killing me slowly,I dint sleep at all tru awt the night,I cried and cried sote tears refusd to com again,infact I wanted to use pliers to remove it cry

Fyi I tried the warm salt water thing and it only gave me a temporary relief. embarassed

I have been in same shoes before, i pressed garlic juice on the affected tooth for about 1-2 mins( its stinginly painful though) then i rinse off with warm water.

I repeat like every 2 hours.

It will go if done religiously.

Note:

My pharmacist said it can be well avoided by brushing after meals or preferably before bed time,so i do that now.

All is well.

Seriously I can't even describe how I feel embarassed

but I will try and see a dentist,i just don't know if the drugs I ll be given after the removal would affect my lo or not since my gynea ain't around,thanks for the response teamie.

So I went to see me doc, he requested I go hav a scan/cervical measurement (Co's of past mc @ 19wks), but all was fine, I thot I was 11wks but sono said 9+4 (probably Co's I. Had long cycles and ovulate late) so he is puttin in a cerclage at 13wks, he now gave me Ventolin tabs, to help relax my uterine muscles and prevent any contractions,
Pls has anyone ever taken ventolin or sabutamol to prevent preterm labor? I read it online some pple saying it makes dem jumpy or have heart palpitations.

We are so close! Am 9+5

Madam go and buy ginger, mash it with small salt and put it in the affected area but do not swallow....... rinse with warm water

See a dentist ASAP! He may need to extract the offending tooth. The antibiotics mostly prescribed are safe from 2nd trimester. Sorry o! Toothache no be moi moi

Welcome 2 my world of toothache in pregnancy. Well, wot my dentist prescribed was amoxil and pcm. Worked like magic, tho I'd advice u see a dentist. The baby is sapping ur calcium, sorry dear.

No dentist will agree 2 pull ur tooth yle preggy. Always remember 2 rinse ur mouth or brush b4 going 2 bed so d bacteria will hv nothing 2 suck.

I'm new here been following this thread for for sometime though I discovered d thread quite late but I like to introduce myself ftm, 34 weeks gone, edd October.

Thank God my pregnancy has been stress free but recently I started feeling dis pain in my lower abdomen especially at nite making my stomach to b strong n difficult to switch sides, complained to my gyna he didn't give me any statisfying answer n I'm kind of scared.
