To the muslim faithfuls, can someone successfully practice Islam as a religion without necessarily studying Arabic?

Yeah one can practice Islam without the knowledge of Arabic. But one will understand and appreciate Islam better with the knowledge of Arabic. Unfortunately most of those who studied Arabic today do not have the required understanding of Islam.

I would require more explanation as I'm a bit worried on the Salat aspect as most recitations are being done in arabic and other supplications that comes thereafter.
