People have various challenges with going to church.

We don't claim to know everything but God has helped us to commit to following the new testament pattern of Christian meetings.

1. We believe strongly in loving people and accepting them the way they are but challenging them and praying for them to become what God prefers they should be. So you are not coming to meet perfect people; you are coming to meet the perfect God and to meet Him with people who are willing to become all God wants them to be. (Romans 12:9-11, Ephesians 5:1-2)

2. We don't just believe in miracles, we teach people how to experience and walk in the supernatural. Jesus has not changed. (Mark 16:17, 1 Corinthians 6:17)

3. You give what you have, when you have. We do not "task" people or ask for pledges. We believe that money is not the only thing you worship God with- your body, your praises, the time given to come fellowship with God's people etc are as important as giving or sharing your money or material things with other members.

4. We DISCOURAGE beggar-mentality in church (Pastors and members should put their trust in God not man), however we expect members to walk in love and give especially to take care of members and other people in need(Acts 4:34-35, Galatians 2:10),

There are people who don't really want to stop going to church but church has become more of a burden to them.

- Some feel harassed by church leaders who tell them to repent of sins without showing them exactly how to live the Christian life. They love God but are constantly defeated by temptations. Or they don't just have people they can trust enough to open up to about the sins in their lives.

- Worst still, for some, it is those who they look up to as "spiritual" leaders that are "leading" them into sexual sins and all sorts of hypocrisy. They know they need help but who will they talk to?

- Some are just tired of the emphasis on money. They are made to pledge for all kind of projects except taking care of church members. They love God but they feel the church is busy building buildings rather than help members to develop... (continued below)

- Some are worried about doctrines that are strange to the New Testament held on to by many churches. They feel like it is better to leave the church and be on their own but that won't be Christianity because we are not to forsake the gathering of God's people. So they just struggle to go to church.

- Some just don't feel loved in their church or they need a place where they can be known

- Some feel awkward in church because the pastor is almost being worshipped and, unlike Jesus, members can't at least air their opinion even if it will not be taken. People see the pastor as infallible. He is always right!

- Some believe they need miracles but they are taught miracles don't happen anymore.

- Some long for deeper experience with the Spirit of God but their lives are left shallow.
