pls check d question properly. I think 7710 is also supposed to have a base, or is it in base 'x' likd the others?
Any number without a given base is assumed to be in base ten.

HomoSapiien:
Determine the maximum value of y = 3x 2 - x 3

@Umartins1
dy/dx= 6x-3x2

dy/dx=0

6x-3x2=0

3x(2-x)= 0

3x=0 or 2-x=0

X=0 or x=2

Check for dy2/d2x

dy2/d2x 6x-3x2

6-6x

Sub for x=0

6-0

=6

Sub for x= 2

6-12

=-6

Maximum value is when dy2/d2x is less than 1

Therefore, answer is

2.

I didn't bother getting post utme form again.

I was rushing everything and just patching things up. This was because I started preparing late. I thought that, at the end of the day, I will pass, but I might not get the exact course I want ; as I would have to score extremely high in putme to make up for that jamb score.

So, to save myself the unnecessary risk and stress, I let it go, and then set my focus on the upcoming one.

What was Ur former nick?

Today, we're going to treat this topic:
COORDINATE GEOMETRY The following sub-topics are going to be treated:
1. gradient of a line/general form of a linear equation
2. parallel and perpendicular lines
3. equations of straight lines
(a)two-point form
(b)point-slope form
Re: Nairaland 2016 Jamb Tutorial Classroon [mathematics Thread] by Orezy5(m): 10:21am On Sep 07, 2015
General form of a linear equation

The general form of linear equations is: y=mx + c. examples of such equations are:
y=3x + 2 etc.

According to the general form(y=mx + c),

m=the gradient/slope of the line

c=the y-intercept, i.e the point where the line/graph crosses the y-axis.

Hope i'm making sense
