Well, marriage can be all that you listed but like you also stated, people get married for the wrong reasons. However, can it be said that two people who seemed so much in love with each other, who eventually have a failed marriage after living together for several years, got into marriage for the wrong reasons?

Fact is, the world is evolving pretty fast and what worked in the 80s will hardly work these days. People should stop attaching so much importance to a woman only when she's married. A woman is as important when she's single as to when she's married.
