On the contrary, smart women are able to balance work and family. The Iwealas, Maduekes, Alakijas, Clintons, et al are doing it successfully. And don't forget folks like Chimanda Adichie, SDK. Linda's dad has been harping on marriage for her because as an adult he knows the implications of being a spinster at 40.

I find it very amusing that some villagers that moved to town would all of a sudden see marriage as a crude African mentality. In USA alone, wedding is a billion dollars industry for a reason.
