This is fantastic news I must say. Now Boko Haram will have to go to MTN office and take their picture if they want to make call. Excellent move by Mr President, the security team and the NCC. The real purpose of the SIM registration is now being put to use. I love it. |

Chylo:how can you identify a BH member? BH will steal peoples phone and use it for their operation. |

ECOTERRORS:But all the already existing ones they are using now will have to be abandoned. This is a clean slate. Furthermore, there is a considerable logistic challenge in coordinating any new stolen numbers among the terror network. Every little bit helps in the fight. |

| Re: Boko Haram: Telecoms Firms Deactivate 38m Lines by Chylo(m): 7:29pm On Sep 08, 2015 |
Xbabangida:Why not say what doesn't make sense about it like a normal person, so we can discuss it. Boko haram have been hiding out in Sambisa forest and other places. They obviously won't risk coming out for verification and the army would be casing all the local registration points, thus their mobile communications are disrupted. And as I told someone else before, if they were going to steal people's lines, they would have to reveal themselves on a raid, reach a large number of registered people, steal their phones and then figure out how to let people in the secret cells know everyone's new numbers. This is an inconvenience at worst. Please support the Nigerian government and the military in this fight. Tenks. Why not get your SIM registered properly so you don't get disconnected. This registration thing has been on for a very long time. |
