Queen of Da South (Real name, Amadi Gift Chinyere) was born September 9th in Lagos State, Nigeria.

This ‘well-endowed’ songstress grew up around musicians and back-up singers. She started rapping and singing in church and in school. Her professional passion and love for music started at the age of 4.

Chilly B’s professional music career started in 2012 with the release of her first single “Wyne Am Go Down”, which made the number one spot on most music charts across Nigeria. A graduate of Theatre Arts from The University of Calabar, Chilly B has gotten massive recognition and love from fans all over Nigeria.

Her Hit single “Dekalemo” has placed her right on map of the Nigerian music scene. Chilly B is known for her electrifying, raw and crazy stage performance.

Her stage craft commands a lot of attention as a professional dancer. She has headlined shows in the South, this including Africa’s Biggest Street Party and Calabar’s famous Xmas Carnival.

She won the Most Promising Female Act at Niger Delta HipHop Awards, Best Rap Single at Cross River Metropolitan Awards, Best Female Performing Act South South Entertainers Award, Best Female Vocalist in Accra Music Festival etc.

Chill B is currently working on the visuals for her new hit single “OYE”produced by prolific producer Otyno.
