Congrats Prof Olayinka. Proud to be an alumnus. Pls there are many associate professors due to be full professors in UI. Kindly look into it. If you don't attend UI for masters, you haven't done any Msc( lol). Sincerely, UI is the best place for post graduate programmes. So proud to be a product of this school. PhD to begin soon and it is UI or no other place in Nigeria. Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Govenor can't influence who becomes d VC in a federal Univ...it could be possible in state Univ....U.I is a federal Univ,so d point u raised is absolutely baseless..

NB: prior to march 28th of 2015, PMB visited the southern part of this country. Now the election is over, and he's now in power, he has not visited the southern part(mostly the west) for once, but he has gone to see his cows. The question that comes to my mind, is it that he values his cows more than the southern people, even his 'slaves'?

I am so proud to be taught by Prof at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I am who I am today because God allowed me to pass through an erudite professor like Prof Olayinka. Such a kind and down to earth personality.

Whoever come across you would know you are more than worthy to be the VC of the prestigious university of Ibadan and even a Bellite at that.

Congratulations sir. Your boys are doing well in the fields Geoscience even as far the land of the Saxons-the city of Mama Charly.

Am privileged to be a former m.sc student of prof olayinka @ U.I. then he was HOD n later made dean of post graduate school. I knew he was progressive and yu could feel d aura around him as unstoppable. He is a very kind hearted n patient. You will love dis guy once yu come in contact with him. U.I is blessed with olayinka as their pilot. Kudos great prof.

Not at all. He is one of the best Lecturers. No bad belle for students and his colleagues. The picture didn't do justice he looks better and younger in person.
