There are many reason why people go for either Media Tek or Qualcomm processors. Which do u prefer and why?
As for me i like Media Tek cus of imei tweaking but Qualcomm scores on Antutu is realy tempting.

Comparing MTK to Snapdragon is like comparing a tricycle with a Lamborghini.

i agree that snapdragon is better, but i prefer mtk, i have an mtk device and i will still go for another mtk device
i see mtk as a the other little guy doing his thing and he is doing it well

mtk fones are low end fones with low security mainframe dats y dia imei numbers can b easily changed n can b rooted within a blink of an eye.....known giants in fone production like samsung,sony,htc, huawei,Lg etc can never use mtk on dia devices cuz dey want higher grade parameters for dia productes like Qualcomm....its smaller fone companies like techno,infinix,injoo,gionee etc dat make use mtk systems cause its cheap for dia growing enterprise.mtk has its advantages in Nigeria wia boys dey hack n tweak bcuz of cheats....dey can easliy bypass mtk security but when it comes to value mtk be like shit wey qualcomm fones dey. Qualcomm is too superior.....anything mtk dey do Qualcomm go do am ×10.

For me most mtk devices don't carry any special feature (tecno and infinix) and qualcomm Is super fast when it comes to speeed + multitouch on my phone it can recongnize up to 8 fingers while most mtk are just two fingers... #TeamQualcomm (Samsung)

So you are forgetting the htc one m9+, also xiaomi..

Mtk versus snapdragon arguments hav come a long way,but it shld be know that people stop seeing mtk chipsets as they are used to be produced before,now they produced chipsets for high end devices as well which is brand of helio chipsets.so dis argument is not really neccesary.
because mtk chips back den wia made specifically for budgets fones,but now dem sef don step up

Snapdragon has better GPU's than mediatek...Cos even the 64bit Mali T720 GPU cannot process graphical data and give a framerate as high as the Adreno 330 GPU which is the snapdragon 801 krait 400 processor...which is 32bit

There's also a variant of HTC M9 that has Mediatek Helio X10. As for Antutu score, Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 rocking Mediatek Helio x10 scored 49000 + which is higher than most Qualcomm devices including LG G4 with Snapdragon 808
