Tell your brothers to get education and stop killing innocent awusas and other nigerians resident in the north, while Oluchi, Arunma are world figure, fatima and bilkisu are suicide bombers. Its only education that can salvage the awusa n their brothers disumusa: |

omoelesa:Useless ignorant Yoruba man filled with hate. Lacks knowledge of history and what reparations mean. Allied forces rebuilt Germany. Germany paid reparations to the jews for internment and Volkswagen using them as forced laborers during the war. United States paid reparations to the Japanese. Did Nigeria pay Reparations to the Igbos/Biafrans? No! That's the difference Fool! |

totit:Twistray you really pathetic aren't you. BTW don't deny its you because stupidly you quoted your words words to words, funny enough it's the same words that got you dragged several weeks ago. I'm still curious Wtf did you think you disproved. You provided a list where there are 7 Igbo's and 6 Yoruba's and you have mouth to even talk. Mind you, this Igbo's made their wealth after the 20 pounds which was never imposed on yoloba therefore, there should have been more yoloba on that list but alas here we are. While we at it, haven't it already been shown to you those 20 companies are predominantly foreign company. Excluding two companies own by yoloba, the remaining few in the list that is Nigerian owned are SS and SE individuals companies Didn't we already knocked in your head Being chairman of a foreign branch company does not mean You OWE the company. You are a worker of that company. infact, out of all companies posted up by you, only two are Yoruba CEO/owned and the remaining are either whites, SS and SE. Dangote Cement---CEO: Aliko Dangote [Fulani] • Zenith Bank PLC---CEO/founder: Jim ovia [ delta igbo] • Ecobank Transnational Incorporated---CEO: Albert Essien [ibibio] • Nigerian Breweries Plc...Non Nigerian owned company..a branch of heinkein. CEO: Nicholas Vervelde [white] • First Bank Plc...CBN sponsored bank. Not a nigerian founded bank despite a yoruba [onasanya] is the chairman. Founder: Alfred Jones [ white] • Guaranty Trust Bank Plc: CEO/founder Fola Adeola [yoruba] • United Bank for Africa--- CEO: Phillip Oduoza [ Delta Igbo] • Guinness Nigeria:non nigerian owned company: Founder: Arthur Guinness [white] • Nestlé Nigeria: non nigerian owned company: CEO: Paul bulcke [white] • Access Bank---CEO: Paul Wigwe [igbo] • Flour Mills Nigeria---Paul Gbededo [tribe: unsure, possibly middlebelt] • Union Bank of Nigeria---CEO: unknown. It Is a UK owned company despite the chairman is igbo [Udo udoma] • Stanbic IBTC---CEO: Atedo Peterside [ijaw] • First City Monument Bank--- CEO: Ladi Balogun [yoruba] • Lafarge Cement WAPCO-- non nigerian owned company. CEO/founder: Leonard Palance [ white] • Total Nigeria: Non nigerian owned company. CEO: Elizabeth protrust [ white] • Unilever Nigeria: non nigerian owned CEO/founder: Paul Polman [white] • PZ Cussions. non nigerian owned company CEO: George Zimmorosi [ white] • UACN--CEO-Larry Ettah [igbo] • Cadbury Nigeria Plc---CEO: Udiemio itseuli [edo] You do realize you ended up just proving what all have been saying accurate. While we are at it, here is an updated 30 richest Nigerians in 2015 1. Alhaji Aliko Dangote – Dangote Group, (Manufacturing, oil & gas,)Funny enough there are still more Igbo on the list than yoloba. A word of advice, if you want to disprove something, actually try and brings things that supports you, not discredit you and support your opponent. You ended up just making a complete fool of yourself yet again. Everything else you wrote, the above post discredits it all therefore trash. |

Harrisonn:My people say that "ori to ba ri oba fin ni oba nge" the head that insults the king is ripe for beheading, when ojukwu with support of the south east igbo decided to risk it all and declared war on the federal republic of Niger , you know what happened after. When Hitler decided to attack central Europe, Poland ,France and Austria after the war you see what happened to Germany and what they lost. It is on record that Awolowo and Gowon ensured that the lands and property belonging to the Igbo which had not been looted in the SW, middle belt and North were returned to them, however the case of the SS is different. The ones with monies outside SE came back to meet their money there but the ones with their monies in FG banks in the SE rightly lost it all that was their gamble and the FG could not protect that. The OP has decided to omit one fact. When the Igbo retired from the north and SW and went to the SE , they withdrew all their monies from the banks and took it with them , banks were raided by Biafra soldiers in areas close to SE and lodgement books were destroyed and lost with it proof of the account or balance. A federal law was passed that any perosn who could produce a dated lodgement book or proof of monies in a bank had to be given his/her money, those who make a claim can only be given 20 naira where such proof is absent ; which makes logical sense. |

onenaira3:Your delusions doesn't allow you to differentiate a CEO of a bank , who is just another employee of the shareholders and the board from the individual with controlling shares. Nigerians are special wherever they come from, I think the biggest difference between the Igbo and Yoruba is the amount of risk one is willing to take and the difference in value system. The Igbo place a high value of wealth, the Yoruba on success and a good name. That success can mean material wealth but it is at best not compromise the good name which you can't buy for all the gold in the he world. Some of the biggest beneficiaries of the IBB and Abacha campaign of corruption and looting of federla funds are Igbo and some of the very wealthy ones we see today are just that with their Yoruba and hausa counterparts. |

new2020:Allied forces did not pay reparations to Germany nor did it rebuild the rhein land, in fact Germany was made pay money for itst destruction of Moscow, France , Austria , Poland etc Germany suffered after WW2 |
| Re: How Much Respect Do You Show Igbos? By Ena Ofugara by Nobody: 5:44am On Aug 02, 2015 |
sweetgala:Above in bold... I never said that; don't know where you got that from. Reparations is not the same as assistance in rebuilding. Read my post again! I repeat, the Allied forces mostly the United States helped rebuild Germany. That's why it has military bases in Germany since the war till today, also with Japan; the United States paid reparations to the Japanese that were interned during the war. Germany paid reparations largely to the jews, and also to United Kingdom, France, and the Soviet Union. https://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/natsec/RL33331.pdf |

new2020:The US has military bases in Germany for the same reason that have one in Japan, they once outrightly conquered those lands and totally invaded it. Germany after the war were too weak to stop the US building a base there , the US wanted to be close to Russia for strategic reasons . After many years the Germans found the US base to be favourable to them, it guaranteed US protection from Russia. Germany is back at full strength and with sovereignty can close all those bases but have chosen not to because it is like having an extra set of armed personnel on the ready. The service men on those bases are under specialized US/EU laws and regulations. Same as Japan those bases are kept by the Japanese government who don't have an offensive military force as protection from Chinese and N Korean aggression |

Its painful what the Igbos had to suffer during the war and are still suffering many years after the war. The third-class citizen badge which they've refused to wear. But restoration is coming the way of the Igbos. They are being restored to their destiny. A change which started some years ago is about to reach a whole new level. I wonder how Nigerians will take an Igbo President. I can't wait. Nigeria shall yet be great. |

sweetgala:Go and read bro.. The Easter Nigeria never declared war on Nigeria. It was Nigeria that declared war on Easter Nigeria. After all negotiation fail, and the pogram continued in the North, The Eastern Nigeria declared itself independence, and the Nigeria declare war on them. The ibos never retire from North and south, they were being massacred especially in the North. Only those who escaped make it to the east. So where did you get the fact that the Ibos lined up in the bank to withdraw their money b4 leaving for east? |

sunnyb0b0:Hahaha lol!!!! Just listen to yourself coward Till date, ordinary Ikwerres and Ogonis seized your properties close to your stronghold in the East and you cowards couldn't fight or do anything about it. What a shame!!! It's like Edos seizing Yorubas properties in Edo state.... 300 Ibo military officers were massacred in a single night and till date, you have never raised a finger against these people. Only two to three Yorubas were killed during Abacha regime, Yorubas brought that regime to his knees. Igbos are nothing but cowards |

nnenneigbo:The set of yorubas on nairaland are near useless with a large chunk of them in near state of lunacy, and will never be used by someone as myself to determine the general attitude or opinion of the entire Yoruba people. And when I say they're near useless and a chunk of them in precipice of lunacy, I meant that with all sense of responsibility. |
