Steal 10 billion, and then throw about 10 million for cheap publicity. With Ekiti state so full of intellectuals, they still voted this foolish man in as a governor! A government should be looking after all the disabled persons in the state rather than throwing money at one disabled person for cheap publicity.

What a fool! And an idiot!

He is just one out of the many crippled in that state.... would fayose call them one after the other and donate to them too or build an institution that would cater for their needs even after he is gone?

Hmmmm. I feel so sad seeing that man kneeling on the ground. Methink a wheelchair should have been given to him first. Our leaders should learn to give in humility.
We don't have to subject someone to ridicule simply because he is in a position of need.
guy is there any disgrace bigger than being an handicap? put urself in his shoes… a cripple given 500k and an okada… him go use chest reach there. that okada can fetch him daily income too. wish all handicaps will learn frm this. work no matter wats holding u down

In as much is a good gesture to the cripple cobbler who will ride the Okada for him. Since he is cripple all he needs is a wheel chair and a working tools to support his business, then channel the rest in form of scholarship to the children.

Fayose tweet above said "the cobbler shop got burnt and he lost his tools" why not get him another tools to make him remain in biz. Why okada? since he wasnt an okada rider before now.

Ekiti state is heading in a direction of self governance.

Yesterday, it was sharing of rice, chicken and oil to the people of Ekiti, today na cobbler who knows which way tomorrow. This is no more governance, this is looking more like show biz.
I'm from Ikoro Ekiti, the man in question is a very creative cobbler. He rides motorcycle very well. Fayose also gave him his first motorcycle during his first tenure back then. Oga Timo, as we normally call him, would couple some metals on the motorcycle and support himself with a rod. It's hard to describe the process sha, you need to see him riding motorcycle. He's such a creative, hard working and disciplined man. I remember when I was in nursery school, I used to repair my footwears in his shop. I would trek all the way from okeoja to oja where his shop is located cos he was the best as at then even till now he's still the best. A very kind gesture from Mr Governor.

undecided Ok oh,som1 dat has no legs to ride Okada. seems fayose is about to perform miracle in ekiti,or he's sense of governance is Loosing direction. Giving the man new shop paid for 6months and new tools to work with would have been the right tin to do,ur presence in presenting the place to him has already brought him more customers, cuz his story will be made public.#jstcommonsense#

I love our new type of government, its called media-cracy.

Government of the media, for the media,by the media..

Imagine the scam, giving a bike to a crippled man..

Was Fayose intention is to mock the man?

Fayose gave a crippled person okada? Wonders they say....
The man can ride motorcycle with ease, he's such a creative being. A good artwork of Fayose's image earned this man his first motorcycle from the governor back then.
