The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has urged Nigerians to stop paying for tint permits for their vehicles.The police further urged citizens to report any officer who demands money from them for the permit.This was disclosed on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, by Force Public Relations Officer, Olabisi Kolawole in Abuja.

She said:

“We are saying that if people were paying before, they should not do that any longer.”

“The police will not relent in their effort to carry out their duty. I just want to let you know that this current police administration will not condone any act of public disorder.”

Kolawole also said that the police would henceforth arrest all unauthorized persons using vehicle sirens in the country.

Meanwhile, the Police has released list of authorised vehicles to use siren.

If Tints become a free thing for everyone to have access to, that means police assault, brutality and approach will become more devastating and menacing towards the citizens. For now it seems they are in support because they are limited to the number of people they assault on daily basis talk more of when everyone uses it
Its even better to avoid it to stay peacefully without their harassment. No big deal about tints anyway.

lol. Maybe u are right but the free part is incomplete. Health & security reasons are the main ways of gettin it free or not. If u dnt meet the criteria then u are not entitled to a pass in the first place.
