What I am about to write is based on personal experience and observations.
In Nigeria of ours,political office holders don't see the office they occupy as a service to the people but for their own pockets,egotism and self Chauvinism. While they set us against each other to achieve their personal objectives and later turn around and treat us like a trash and starts flaunting their loot to our very face.
A relative was ill and needed to be operated upon with the sum of 2.44million,we started running around for help, writing letters to the so called big wigs for help, from Jagaban to several state governors(but no response from any of them up till date), note that these letter were sent thru known courier service so there is no doubt on whether they saw the letters or not, we went ahead by even calling the senator representing the constituency where the individual hails from in person of prof Adeyeye(Chief whip). He refused to pick the call,we went ahead and sent messages thru phone and whattsapp he read it and kept mute and never replied he later blocked the number from his phone, some people who even showed concern tried explaining things to him to assist people but he went on passing insults to them saying, he was quoted of saying it is not anybody that puts him in the position he his occupying .I know this is not a strange occurrence in the country where politician only server their pockets and lives the rest of the populace to suffer so many pains ragging from unemployment to so many degrading treatments from the so called leader.
In conclusion, i wish to appeal to our youths to stop making them selves available to be used and dumped by this politicians, who only promises heaven and earth when they needed supports to garner votes from the people and later turn around to claim the glory for them selves.

Tell that to Nairalanders in politics section, who uses every post as an a opportunity to pour out their anger on fellow civilians. They even have groups which funny enough goes like this....
APC -as DULLARDS
PDP- as WAILING WAILERS
I think the reason Nairaland is a forum is so that pple can air their views and not to receive insult and worst of it is an insult for someone who only cares about making his 10th coming Generation richer while toiling to make u (the supporter) a puppet.
