The way they print and mint houses here in Enugu frightens me. Last 6 years, there were no houses in this whole area, none, nothing at all but bush.

That is a fantastic achievement then and testament to what determined people can achieve, after all Abuja was once bush that people refused to live in or even accept free plots and those folks are now kicking themselves. It would be great though if pavements and pedestrian walkways can be part of the design as well as well manicured grassy areas. In areas with such great houses people should not have to walk in the road. You can tell that some Igbo's who have built in Abuja or live in the states have brought ideas home. That's good.

Its a mix, too much urbanization is eating up our greenery, this area will soon be built up, give it 5 years from today.

I see. This is why I support city boundaries and grand parks (larger than football fields). I thin Enugu city right now in terms of area is smaller than most cities, so maybe it can grow a bit before being restricted.

Corruption will not allow them to restrict anything, under our very noses the green areas of Independence layout were allocated and built up last year.

Forgetting Abuja And Lagos where Igbos alone own at least 40% of all the land, can you compare our cities Calabar, Enugu, Port harcourt, owerri, Asaba, Uyo to the deserts up north?!
