Liar. You're a big liar.

A lie Okay

In a
recent letter to the finance minister a forum of unemployed
graduates demanded evidence for the existence of the purported
new jobs. A central bank official said last year that 70% of
Nigeria’s 80 million youths are unemployed. DM

This is no news. It's a common knowledge that Bank job is one of the volatile and inducted job in the country today.
Banks been sacking since 2010.
Trying to associate it with the TSA is just myopic.

God Bless U!!!!!! All I've been trying to tell SeverusSnape.

You're wrong. I already knew the TSA will sack bank marketers ..

..Or don't you know that those individual accounts make up the cabals of the bankers ..

..Some banks will feel the hit seriously ..
If you read the article, you realize it's not even the marketers that are getting the sack.

I admire your courage for continuing to respond to this troll. Banks with plans to lay off staff just found a convenient excuse. The truth is some of these banks strongly skewed their borrowings in favour of politicians and businesses which were pro-pdp in the last administration. Now that power has shifted hands, honey has stopped flowing in certain directions and loans have gone bad.
I disagree with you on this. Are you saying Pro-apc states were not favored in the banks lending. How come states like Lagos, ogun, osun finished the last tenure with a huge debt profile? You are also insensitive to the attendant challenges sudden loss of job brings to bear on the affected persons.

Buhari was not circumspect in the enforcement of that policy.

We both know it isn't, Do not allow petty hatred cloud your sense of judgement. I have friends and families who lost their jobs in Jonathan's era as well.

Since Buhari came on board, thousands of Jobs have been lost. But the dull'ard promised two million jobs annually. Maybe he meant the opposite. Because he can be confused most of the times.

I just hope my friends who are Bankers won't be sacked.

You must be very silly for insulting the President. I guess you dont have home training

Instead of them to sack bank bosses who have made fortunes n employ younger people, then promote the younger bosses without pay rise.
Some guys earn as much as 1.5m montly doing the same old shi.t
Why not use that money to pay 10young people.
Banks are d cause of their problems..
Those old mofos can start a business or invest n make returns.

Did you know that over 70% of Nigeria's 80Million youths were unemployed during GEJ's administration??
If we are to accept your analogy as sacrosanct, it means the percentage of unemployment under Buhari is going to break the scale at the end of 4yrs.

Don't mind the useless Ape. When thousands were sack during PDP reign, where was he and his co-wailers?
In as much as I felt for those affected, there's nothing much anyone can do about it.
For the sake of the country's future, TSA must stand- it's the right thing to do.

You're right, Banks always retrench from time to time, It happened during the time of Yaradua, Jonathan, Obasanjo and it's happening under Buhari. But didn't you see that report of sixty (60) thousand construction workers losing their jobs?, Did you read the report from the National Bureau of statistics some weeks back?...Isn't this an era of "change"?... things should be changing positively or at least remaining as it was; But alas!...It's getting worse.
yes we expect it for sure because during jonathan era oil which is our major source was selling btw 120 to 130 dollars which is now selling at 50 to 53 dollars. you can imagine the gap and it consequences to the nation at large .It is not all about bhai but the reality on ground.

Too bad.

But anything to prevent leakage, and robust economy is ok by me..

Its better to have a functioning economy, and have less people affected to achieve that, than postponing the evil days.

Those affected should take heart.

Because u were nt affected baa!!!

Buhari's own is worse, just look, Only four months in power and tens of thousands of Jobs have been lost.

I'm not happy about it, because I have friends who are Bankers.
Sometimes hard decisions have to be made. I marvel at the way some of us so want to see a better Nigeria yet we don't want to go through the process that tend to promise a better Nigeria. Yet some might have lost job bit he has also directed police service commission to recruit 10000 member! Why don't we keep cool and see how the whole thing plays out.

In 2007, CBN reduced the number of Banks in Nigeria from 89 to 25 due to Capital increase from #2billion to #25billion..
IMAGINE THE JOB LOSS
so its not all about Buhari.

So because of fewer people, the restructuring process of blocking leakage in government should be jettison or what?

I think you are the one to shut up,and go to bed..

Things won't change in just 100days brother, Buhari met Nigeria almost dead in his arrival. Am sure Nigeria will be better when he is done. Only time will tell

many are still going to lose their jobs because they work under the establishments of former corrupt governors, senators and ministers. If you are one of them you better start preparing to lose your job because it will get to you by the time your boss is persecuted.

You see now, that is the problem. Another military fiat without due diligence. Directing the police commission to recruit more 10,000 members without carefully considering how to pay them and house them in the face of dwindling economic resources foolhardy.
