They have always been the major problem this country has.
Expecting the president to come down from the FCT everyday to run their various states for them.

No accountability whatsoever.

Foolish set of people.

Bail out money was released to states dat hav bn unable to pay salaries to their workers but what do we have here? A situation were the money is being diverted for other purposes is a slap to the intelligence of workers and labour unions in Nigeria.

The only solution to this is strike. Strike action should be carried out in all the states where the Governor is refusing to clear the backlog of salaries he has been owing. No more No less.

Don't deceive ur self. Those monies were given to offset dept in cure during the election. that is why some governors are being cocky. Buhari will not and can not do anything.

If EFCC doesn't go after Aregbesola and jail him, may God make PMB's end be like that of Gaddaffi. ICPC and EFCC should not tell us that have no case of corruption against him.
This is a man that shouldn't be employed to manage a petrol station governing a state.
Now he is asking for primary school result. The same result PMB couldn't produced before election.
All the primary school in Modakeke axis of Ile Ife were burnt down now I have two people looking for primary school certificate from such school.
Aregbesola is going to end up like Nebuchadnezzar. He will fall from grace to grass.
Amen...... Amina-yah-allahu
Re: Tension As Governors Sit On Bailout Fund by Rexyl(m):
Someone should pls answer these questions. Is this attitude of governors not corruption? If so is there any punishment for it?

Some governors just decided to lengthen duration of sufferings of their people by fixing the bailout funds until more interests are received as personal gains at the expense of State's workers.

If something is not done on time it would be like the current government sits on corruption while it condemns the act.

While i may be inclined to agree that the bailout was specifically meant to offset salary arrears and all that, I do not agree that all governors put themselves in the message , Initially Jonathan deliberately took 35% off Osun's allocation for talking back during a campaign

Then it was the fall in global oil price , Osun's allocation is now 35% of what it used to have

Aregbesola embarked on breathtaking projects in Osun, and the evidence is out there , every town, state , in Osun had a facelift , and upgrade

While that may be unwise i think his intentions were genuine and he wouldn't have had problems if not for the two main factors listed above

Bottom line is , in times of excess he worked (Projects) He paid (13 months) he fed, (School Children) and they applauded , now that things are hard, they should be reasonable

Please, stop commenting on what you know little or nothing about. Come to Osun and see the so-called projects which were even highly inflated and many still uncompleted. Osun civil servants are among the heavily taxed in Nigeria. The monthly allocations are always being printed for public awareness: where did you see your own percentage reduction in allocation which you quoted. The governor has totally hijacked the LGA funds. The is no public sector that is functioning properly now in Osun State. Please, don't live on scam. We that live in Osun know better.

Let him come out to tell people of Osun that he doesn't need civil service so that he can run a one man show to save money for his rubbish projects. Osun is in shamble. It has never been this bad. Oyinlola is a god compare to this monkey.

Out of the
states that have collected the money, only Kwara
has announced using it to settle workers salary
arrears.

If I hear, Kwara state govt owed Council workers 2 months and paid d 2 months after receiving d bail out fund, but teachers, esp those teaching in primary schools are being owed 3 months salary and d state govt offered to pay one, but d teachers through their Union refused and at d moment, there is a great possibility they will go on strike soon.

Re: Tension As Governors Sit On Bailout Fund by futurenix(m):
The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has told Abia State Polytechnic workers through its Acting rector Prof. Ikonne that "bail out funds is not for backlog of salaries". The Statement really caused a pandemonium in the school and an emergency Congress of ASUP was held on it.

Abia State Polytechnic and other government parastatals in the state have constantly been on 5-6 months salary arreas over the last 4 years. The Polytechnic staff received their March salaries as the last so far just last month.

The University Teaching hospital in Aba has been on strike for over 6 months and the last time I checked, their salary areas was 11 months.

According to the Acting Rector, the bail out is to settle debts incured by the state to companies ( maybe construction), banks and others.

Some of these governors intend to divert these funds. In this Governor's (Abia) case, I believe his tribunal case with APGA will divert this money into bribery to the judges.

hehehehe, read my response to another goat like you above , but in summary , Aregbe does not recieve state allocation in his personal bank account , as such he is not permitted to touch or transfer said money , Stop thinking with your yansh

So you are saying the workers refused the 13th month half salary ? Return Brain to head, it's not befitting for the yansh

Read all of the links , you will find somewhere where it was stated that he paid Osun workers salaries for 2 or 3 months during which GEJ chose to hold the state's funds, Don't argue with me , argue with punch and other media

What a Duncess grin, Yes , He actually did hold allocation for Osun for a few months during second term campaign and it is well documented on the internet, Yes and the news also confirmed that Jonathan can and did actually confirm that he had to reduce state's allocation because price of crude fell from $109 to $76 read the links below and realize that you are a dunce and duncess grin in one body

Those who beg hardly chose, The fund is called Bailout funds, and those working in the civil service are not the only ones who need bailout , what about pensioners if you are so pissed about project completion , what about those youths he employed ? what about the old babas and mamas that he's been paying token every month ??
