1 Timothy 4:1 - Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

It is not a new thing that strange doctrines filled the Christiandome and many Christians intentionally make themselves blind to it, As long as it suits their lifestyle, as long as they feel belong that is their perfect church, many of this church exists as the scripture has foretold it to be and many Christians are trapped in their with false hope. Jesus says the doctrine he's giving us his not his own but of The FATHER, now what is the religion of The FATHER James 1: 27 " Pure and undefiled religion before God and
the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble,
and to keep oneself unspotted from the world."

Now I hope you have the understanding of the kind of doctrine God expects you to build your Christian life on. Thanks

Now let me tell you the story of how Strange doctrine mess up the church and life of my pastor friend

Although he's very much older than I do, he could easily go as my dad but he relate with me well because of the Love of God he found in me and the Love that i have for God and the church. I was part of the choir and I often join them whenever i return from school for a holiday. His church has a massive building with great number of congregants that filled the building and the upper part inclusive, I was glad to be part of this church, it's really good to serve God. But a day came when we are having youth meeting and he came up and said the youth can dress as they wants now , they can leave their hair open and put on trouser the bible has nothing to do with it bla bla bla, He had already said this during the church service too, at that point i was struck in my heart but what can i do, later on different people started entering the church, we had a new church secretary who dress "to kill" and this my pastor friend handle some of his business to her to manage, well it went on for like that and we believe things are fine but I perceive things were going down, many programs here and there, different pastors here and there, the pastor wife is also moving from one place to another to move the church forward
But she didn't realize that the devil has taken hold of her home. after a long time away from the church that I return back home one day that I heard that the pastor daughter in the choir has been impregnated by one of the guys that monitors the engines behind the choir stand, the news was all over the vicinity it was a great embarrassment for the church at that point some members have begin to withdraw, when I went to the church i saw that things are going down drastically, I really do not want to ask anybody anything in order not to raise the dust at least they believed I would have heard about it in one way or the other, I left for my school and after some time I receive the news that shocked me that this my pastor friend and his secretary were having an affair and as it is that the secretary is now pregnant for the pastor and it has been blown to the church and to the surrounding vicinity, His wife was devastated, this my pastor friend and his new secretary turned wife closed down the church and his other businesses and moved to Abuja, while his former wife remain in the resident beside the church building. the Hero church in the area then was brought down to Zero because of strange doctrine that the devil use as medium to pull down the church, It took me months before i could walk in front of that church because i was really ashamed of what happened there and I don't want the former pastor wife to see me, I really don't know how am going to discuss the matter and console her. Later on the massive church building was let out to a small branch of Redeemed Christian Church of God who currently occupied it.

Well this is a big lesson for every Christian, my pastor friend in the middle brought in strange doctrine into the church while many new generation Pastors founded their church on strange doctrines in either which way it all leads down to the bottom of hell. LISTEN AND SAVE YOUR SOUL.

By their fruit u shall know them, the best way to detect n run away from false doctrine is to look at the life of the teacher in comparison of that of Christ, if he falls short then his words can never be from Christ. For bad tree do not bear good fruit n vice versa.

Its so unfortunate that as xtians will still do not see the handwriting on the wall many at times, even when we claim to have the spirit of God. The ex pastor did nt fail when he started having affair with the secretary, or even when false doctrine crept into the church. The man failed right from the onset of founding a church when himself wasnt a church, many will end up in hell simply cos they became pastors, What is he relationship with God n how much did he hear from Him before starting a church? The present day concept of church is quite different from the bible yet we wonder why many atrocities are happening in the church (building).

Anyways I quite agree with u brother what false doctrine can cause and ow dangerous it is. False doctrine is as a result of lack of intimacy with God which brings about knowledge of the word n power of God, the man failed in this aspect for his act is only a manifestation of what was already in his heart long ago.

NB Why in the in the world would anyone be persuaded to compromise the stand of the gospel for a doctrine, obviously such person is yet to encounter Christ though a pastor.

i agree with you, thou He was called but when God instruct a man to build a church he gives him also the precept to follow 2 Timothy 3:16 "for all scripture is given by the inspiration of God and it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in RIGHTEOUSNESS,........" Apostle Paul warned that let all men beware on how he build on this foundation. When a man having charge with stewardship is occupied by his own materialistic gain then such has opened himself unto the devil and lot of things are bound to happen
