Utomi was quizzed by d EFCC for collecting a 2.7b naira loan frm His Bank PHB which he also ran aground. All companies, Bank PHB, Baywood Continental & Volkswagen of nigeria ran by dis man ar now moribund. We saw how horrible d economy was under Shagari govt when Utomi was adviser on economic matters. On paper & on his Patitos gang programme he may be a genius but in real life all companies he ran ar now moribund.

I don't know why some readers can just distinguish between factual and speculative journalism. Virtually everything that we have read in the above report was based on nothing other than reporters' speculation. Too much of speculations and assumptions distort facts.

Not until the list of all ministerial nominees are out, no one can surely say who a prospective minister is and who is not. But if Falana and some other technocrats like Pat Utomi are indeed nominated to be ministers in Buhari-led government, infact a new dawn has come. These are the men of intellect whose pedigrees are unquestionable.

I have always been expecting one day that Pat Utomi will be given a privilege to serve this country again in his full capacity as a minister of economic planning, because I have, on many occasions, read some of his brilliant publications on economic planning and development. He among several other technocrats will be a blessing to us.

I remember back in B.school during MBA days, 2 months to the completion of the program, we had a class Pat Utomi facilitated. Honestly I still keep wondering till date if God gave some people a different category of micro-chip filled brain...........His concept of "knowledge capital" has resonated in my head over six years since that class. I will never forget one advise he gave. He admonished us to read wide and deep, as we will need the knowledge, at many strategic points in life. He gave a classic example of how we can leverage on knowledge to command respect during business cocktail discussion.

He has been an evangelist of leadership and his LVC series have been a his weapon. I will be so happy if he's made the minister of Economic Planning.........

Meanwhile, I see my school has started the trend of "donating" brains as ministers to the federal government. Madam Mobola just left and Prof. Utomi to follow.......

@Bolded I thought Obasanjo who is now the navigator of APC used a chunk of that 16 years. He actually used 8 whole years out of the 16 years but he's now in the APC navigating you guys. Can we now say that PDP had only 8 years? NO?

Baba is looking for saints and corrupt free,I do not see that in Festus.the last time he contested for governship in imo he couldn't get up to 5 votes in primaries.there are so many credible men in imo state rather than odimegwu

Nigerians can be very funny set of people; when u talk against the government, they say "Ah e dey fynd contract, work or appointment". When you have ur own work lyk Amaechi, they say, "Ah this man they fight im brother". If you are in the government lyk Militant Boyloaf and then say certain things about the government u were with, they say "Why ddnt he say anything since or Ehn shey e don chop beleful, now he is biting the finger that fed him".

The next junk that will fill the air is if Amaechi is not appointed..aha..those folks jst got another wailing point..."we talk am, after he don betray im broda, ds fulani use am dump am".
