PES 2016 will becoming to PC this September 17th (though
if you have an Xbox or PlayStation console you can down
load the demo now). Konami's soccer series has been
making strides in recent installments, but can this be the
year it finally catches up with EA's FIFA? What's coming

LOOKS
PES 2016's main focus this year was fluid player movement. And Konami has kept its word, player animations looking far more natural, with your characters showing a significant amount of situational awareness, to the point that two goalsrarely look alike. All these improvements contribute to a faster, more natural, and unpredictable experience.

BETTER CONTROLS
PES 2016 has also improved its controls, allowing you to pass exactly where you want – which was not always the case in last year's game. This also applies to corners and throw ins.With passing under control, let’s look at some of theaerial action. There is now more realism to your players and the ball in the air. This is thanks to the new Fox Engine, which adds weight to the players so their midair scuffles and collisions feel more believable and (because of this) spectacular.Of course none of this would matter if the ball didn’t react properly, but here again Konami have gone back to the drawing board.

IMPROVED DEFENCE
Many players ofPES 2015 felt that they regularly lost the ball due to some its unnatural motion, but thankfully this is no longer the case withthe ball now behaving as nature intended.Your team’sAI has also received a tune-up, withyour teammates able to defend effectively – or simply notice that there is a ball near them - without you needing to takeover.

GAME MODES
Realism from all angles:The standard game modes are all set to return, although it seem Master League is going to be totally reformulated so you can control every aspect of team management. MyClub will also be improved, with a new player level system and exclusive players for this mode.Regarding exclusives, Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 is still the only game that includes the UEFA competitions.(fifa is still battling fir champions league rights) Konami will include both the UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and the UEFA Europa LEAGUE .

IMPROVED DEFENCE
One criticism of the previous PES titles used to be their lifeless stadiums. In PES 2016 these have again improved, with better lighting and detail in the stadium, and better grass on the pitch.This improved lighting also helps breathe life into the player models. Along with moving more naturally, the improved lighting also removes the plastic-like finish that used to be an unfortunate hallmark of the series.

WEATHER CONDITIONS
One final notable improvement is the dynamic weather system. Now during a match the weather can shift from sunny to raining, altering not just the look of the field but also how players will react to the slick conditions.

PES is making a come back Konami has greatly improved all the negative aspectsof its game with PES 2016: robotic movements, poor ball physics, bad stadiums... everything has been addressed. But the question remains, can it topple the giant of FIFA.If you give the demo a try, you may certainly feel that it could. But we will have to wait until September 17 to make our final decision.

what is this pes16 like on PC? is it as good as playing it on console (ps3/ps4/Xbox)?
