In 100 level you'll just offer normal science courses like Aeb(Animal and environmental biology) Mth(maths), Bot(botany), Chm(chemistry) etc. You'll meet medical sciences such as Phs(physiology), Mbc(medical biochemistry) Ana(anatomy) etc.
As a pharmacy student in 100 level as stated earlier you'll offer normal sciences while in 200 level you'll offer courses like mbc 201/211, ana 201/212, phs 201/215 in addition to your pharm courses such as pch, pmb, pcg.
I hope I helped a little.

Dont get confused bro..I would not really advice Guyton for now except u want to be discouraged in your course of study.
Physiology is interesting except that their lecturers can be crazy, but you can always do well if you study.
At least its not as difficult as my department.
Have a nice day!
ok so which of f textbook is beta

first if I may ask....what level are u now?? If you wia just admitted to 100 u don't have any business with physiology textbook yet. I will not advice you to buy any of the books until you have read it, the reason is I made similar mistake when is was in 200 and it wasnt easy, to cut the long story short, go to the library and use each of the textbooks and read a particular topic, let's say cell membrane transport then see the one you understand best then you can buy it, for me I read over 5 different physiology textbooks.......

Sembulingham and Ezeilo is better for basic understanding....guyton is kinda advanced though you'll still need it.
You can buy Sembulingham and Guyton if you can sir.

Nice advice too. I feel better with Sembu, another person may enjoy Ezeilo, Guyton etc.
