Mrs Jonathan, it was learned, yesterday met with aggrieved former political appointees and politicians in the PDP seeking new strategies to ensure the re-election of Governor Dickson for a second term in office Sources privy to the meeting said the former first lady urged members of the group and politicians at the meeting to support Dickson’s re-election unconditionally, stressing that the issue at stake at the December 5 election was not about her and the governor, but the fact that the PDP must retain the state. According to sources at the meeting, Mrs Jonathan observed that THOUGH SHE WAS ANGRY WITH GOVERNOR, the development of Bayelsa State under a trusted hand like Governor Dickson was above personal anger, and cautioned that the coming election would not be “carry go”.
