i think i know a lot about this two tribes, and the recent problems they cause this country and so let us examine the things they are saying to each other

Lagos is a no man's land
This is a lie, a white lie sef. Yoruba ppl own lagos 100% and no other tribe, even Edo can claim it, it has been so since independence and so shall it ever remain till this country is no more.everybodi can come and build house here and trade, but you know you are a visitor who should return to your own state when you finish.

Ibo people are insolent
when i was smaller, my mumsy used to tell me that ibo ppl does not greet people, and they are always arrogant and puffy. She says their men don't prostrate to the oba. Is that the reason why we call them disrespectful? When i enter school, I notice that the problem is a small one, they didnt just teach the igbo people to be prostrating to every adult or bend down and greet older people. Can we force them to greet our ppl or just label them as disrespectful just because they fail to prostrate?

Yoruba people are lazy
This is also a lie. the only truth is that our people no dey travel. we sit on our bum bum and claim ibo people are sufferheads and then turn around to tax them and ask for a share of their profits since the money was made in our land. our youths should stop agbero and omo onile work and get busy. learn work so we can compete with the igbo who sabi trading and business.

Yoruba people are so hospitable
we are very hospitabl because we allow people to live in our land. But wait o, every other tribe allows ppl to live among them, abi ibo people dey pursue people wey dey live for their land? stop that rubbish talk abeg! which kain hospitality fights residents with agbero and impose iyalojas to extort money from a profit you dont know how it was made?

ibo people are so irritating and loud
haaaaa, so because somebody wants to express himself and we now say they are loud and noisy, supposing they charge us for being boring? i even hear my people complaining that they are arrogant. since this ppl are not coming into our place to shout inside our compound, they have a freedom to express themselves wella. We can also make our own noise too, kilode!

ibo dey sell fake drugs
blame the system, no be our people dey collect bribes from the borders and ports to allow them inside the country, and yet we see it as occupying sensitive position to make money, why should we blame them. we dey sell fake drugs too, those fake mixures our girls carry for head and waka eveywhere.

Dont quote me!

You know the best way to describe you and your silly traitors.... "Ethnocentric lunatics" many of your fathers died as betrayals... Ours died as conquering heros... Your lots are eager to die young as traitors.

Our fathers died as betrayals and poison drinkers grin Remember our big uncle Awolowo?

Another Igbo claiming to be Yoruba. You wont see the Igbo hypocrites opening threads to bust these fools but they concentrate on Yoruba posters

@ OP

Igbo man, take your opinion to Onitsha palm wine joints

The problem started when Lagos was made the capital city and all the wealth and big companies, both government and private parastatals were all concentrated in Lagos making it a commercial city. The igbos being very good énterprenures or good business oriented people, migrated to Lagos to do business. Thank GOD today, offices are now distributed across the nation.

OP, like I retriated earlier growing up I use to believe the Igbo are quite intelligent and saw very little difference btw me and the next Igbo man but coming on NairaLand as really made me understand that over 90% Igbos are myopic both in thought and reasoning. I pray that God open the eyes of your entire tribe to the stupidity your likes are brewing. You can quote me here or in the after life, your tribe would be worse off anyway you look at it. Ask those suffering the affliction of boko haram today.

I wonder why the same people who syphon all the development to one side will be trying to push away some people.
