You cannot use flash drive and copy or write on a disc on a tab. Inotherwords, there is no substitution for laptop yet

Tablets can do a lot . Maybe not in nigeria but Doctors abroad can get results and show patients their X ray , MRI scan , blood test and many more in front of them then shuffling files . Can do a lot for geologist and many other professions .

Lol. Tablets are the most redundant piece of tech invented (excluding hybrids that can function as laptops or run Windows OS).
I mean, what is the aim of getting a tablet (other than reading PDF's) if it does not have the computational capabilities of a PC or if your smartphone can do everything it can?
The only tablets i consider worth buying is an iPad because of it can function as a Digital audio workstation.

You are right. I Never thought of that. Nigerian doctors need to implement this. But what if the patients needs to take the file home? Won't they give them a hardcopy of the files, and if they do what then becomes the need of the doctor showing them the files via a tablet. grin

Tablets are just Xtra-Large smart phones.

Ask any computer programmer or web developer.

It may mimic a laptop but it can never function as effectively as one.

As the saying goes "If its not Panadol, its not the same thing as Panadol".

They will still get a Hardcopy . The suitation i'm talking about is more like a doctor in a Hospital doing his rounds seeing patients .

A tablet is a LUXURY!

That's the simple truth, I have all 3 and seldom make use of my Tablet. Tablets are just a for EFFIZY. Period!
