The prayer of Tinubu, the Jagaban of Ogbu kingdom has been answered. Saraki seems to be stubborn, while Dogara finally adopted party decision after a long face-off. Ahmed Lawan to become the new Senate President.

HOW APC INTENDS TO FINISH OFF SARAKI (SEE SEC 24 OF THE CCT LAW)

Section 24 (3) (b) of the Code of Conduct Bureau and tribunal.

23. Powers of the Tribunal to impose punishment

 (1) Where the Tribunal finds a public officer guilty of contravening any of the provisions of this Act, it shall impose upon that officer any of the punishments specified under subsection (2) of this section.

(2) The punishment which the Tribunal may impose shall include any of the following-

(a) vacation of office or any elective or nominated office, as the case may be;

(b) disqualification from holding any public office (whether elective or not) for a period not exceeding ten years; and

 (c) seizure and forfeiture to the State of any property acquired in abuse or corruption of office.

Appeal might buy him some but members of the APC in the Senate should start shopping for a replacement the game is up because Buhari has already pacified members of his nPDP block in the APC with ministerial nominations, Atiku knows his own files of (stealing) might soon be dusted so he is likely to leave Saraki to his fate  this is a fight Saraki will have to fight all by himself .......

well i can't argue with u cos i avnt been to offa, but I'm sure d roads in ilorin can beat most of the roads in ur state. Saraki tried but we all know he's corrupt just like obj.
NB I'm not his fan o
Do not only use Ilorin alone to generalise d development of d whole Kwara. He only fairly develop Ilorin alone and totally neglect most of the other towns in kwara. So if u want to know if Bukola Saraki performance, travel to other towns and villages to see for yourself.

why must everything be political or witch hunting or political witch hunting?

is it not about upholding the rule of law since they all claimed to be fighting corruption.

Saraki said he is transparency and accountability and he could not answer the call of cct etc the constitution he proud to honour when swore in as Senate leader. if he is clean why running? he could go down in history to have run the weakest senate.

If he gets convicted for any of the charges against him, that will automatically disqualify him from continuing as the SP. A convict cannot sit and continue to make laws.

The law said you are innocent until proven otherwise. All that is required here is appear in court and clear his name.

Instead of accusing PDP or APC., Nigerians need to start thinking about the future of their children. A person of questionable attributes shouldn't be leading the legislature. What's d big deal in just going to defend himself in court .

Thought Saraki belongs to APC .Why is PDP supporting him ?

Saraki said he is fighting corruption .. good....We all agreed to fight corruption, let's do it!

"Saraki Dismisses CCB Allegations, Says He’s Being Persecuted For Fighting Corruption:But Saraki in a statement by his media office on Wednesday said he has not been served with any court process, adding that his fight against corruption and his “recent stance on national issues” is the reason for the persecution he is facing in the media."
