Oh. sorry.
I only have a first bank dorm account. But deposits are not allowed in other banks, so how do they expect you to fund it?

Meet the accounts opening officer that opened the dorm. account and verify but am a bit sure its possible to do a transfer since its already been open and you have an account number.

No it is not. I think 0.5% + VAT on transaction cost!

You are right. But depending on the amount involved, you can still negotiate the 0.5% with them to may be around 0.25% since the funds won't be leaving the Bank to another.

If the amount you changed wasn't much, then you need not worry. There's no disadvantage apart from the transfer charges of 0.5% of the principal plus 5% VAT which can be factored in the exchange rate. The party you are transacting with will only transfer equivalent in Naira to you while you transfer USD to him or her.
