Pile of crap. Nigerian institutions are way way below state of the art. Nevertheless, some of our Nigerian students are relentless, high-flying go-getters. You can't help but admire as they self-develop into something gigantic. With the right facilities and learning materials in place, a typical Nigerian student, ready to prove his mettle, would easily outshine the best of geniuses in Harvard and Oxford. MisterLongman:weda we lyk it or not, we have our own universities of different grades and standards.. By ranking them locally, there will be room for improvement in their standards wit a view of gettin a top notch thereby increasing their chances of getting better rank in the global ranking tables.. All in all, I'm stil very proud of our institutions.. Education is way beyond the four walls of classroom(pedagogy).. We learn how to survive in all situation in our universities which u may not easily find in universities in other countries.. Remember that the oldest university in nigeria is not up to 70years old..compare that to universities in other part of the world..more than 100universities are more than 500years old..universities dat has produced great scientists of 16th, 17th, 18, 19th and 20th centuries My point: we will still get there soon..
