oshyno:Nobody is saying that Saraki should go anywhere, all we are saying is that he should go to court to defend the charges just like you and i would ve been compelled to, if the law wants us. As SP he sits at the apex of our law making organ, we need good examples from them that's all. For God's sake this people are no different from us. Thank God Saraki and Dasuki are not from SE, Metuh and his like would ve accused him of hate and like always gullible Nigerians will fall for it. Just like in advance society nobody should be above the law 2 Likes |

Life sha, they appeased him, lobbied him, pacified him to allow party supremacy to maintain but he refused & claimed his hands are tight by members insistence and demand..I wonder if any senator can stop the hand of the law in this instance now..Nigerians-are watching the drama as it unfolds ..thank God for technology ,even the mood and body language of the lawyers & the judges are under close monitoring...nobody could bribe anybody,to do so is to fall into the terrible hands of our no nonsense president..The politicians should know the mood of the nation that it is no longer business as usual.. 2 Likes 1 Share |

IbokUtoroh:That is why PDP failed to grow the polity after 16yrs, "Gov of paddy paddy" was what they frosted on us and nearly destroyed the country with their evil ways and followers. If Nigerians allow Saraki to face the law, i am not saying he is guilty. With PMB it will definitely go round to Ameachi, Tinubu, Atiku and others someday. Until our elites become afraid to break the law we will never progress 2 Likes |

chukwudi44: Bro you are wrong bro. ..because of the sensitive position saraki holds...if the cct rules against him...he maybe asked to step down. ...even if he refuses. ..all court process will be exparte. ...so in 120 days or less...we should see a conclusion. . He better have great lawyers...but from what I can see...them just they fool the man. As u can see he has promised to make himself available tomorrow. .. 1.He is the first child of the former Senate majority leader Dr Olusola Saraki. He has went through his father's political tutelage and he understand the intricacies of Nigeria politics 2.He was the last 'successful' chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum he knows how to play Nigeria politics well! Well!! base on his experience 3.Though a medical doctor by training, he comes from a state where virtually every elite in that state is a lawyer... Kwara state has the highest concentration of legal practitioners in Nigeria (Wikipedia is your friend) So they know how to rap with the laws. That is why CCB will just shout and shout the man will still continue to be the Senate president. .. Even the emir of the state is a former justice of Nigeria 4.There are thousands upon thousands of Alfas in Kwara state.. So forget any issue of spirituality that might go against Bukola Saraki majority of the Alfas in that state are in his support. 5. Bukola Saraki has so much court connection within and outside Nigeria. Every captain of industries in Nigeria are his loyal friends, most of the emirs, Obis, Kings and Obas in the country are his friend. This man remain unshakable except God himself wants to remove him... airfinance: |

tunde1200: You are on point. Those may work for him a hundred times. But what about the points and events that would work against him... Have u ever imagined that if the basis for the the quoted is destroyed and rendered useless, of what use is all. Let me remind you that Bukola Saraki is disloyal to his very father. The father campaigned for the sister during the 2011 gubernatorial elections but bukola Saraki supported another candidate against his own father's wish (if his biological father is also his political father, and having obeisance to). The rest is history. The father lost political goodwill and relevance to the son. Bukola Saraki is not a patriot, he can backstab... 1 Like |

Last Thursday, the senate president approached the court with an exparte application seeking an injunction to stop the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) from putting him on trial. Why would one apply for stoppage of trial against if he does not have skeleton in his cupboard? I like this movie |
Re: Court Refuses To Stop Saraki's Trial by Nobody: 5:59pm On Sep 21, 2015 |
tunde1200: this isn't about "Almighty", this is about the rule of law. this isn't about whether he dug a miserable borehole somewhere, this is about our integrity as a nation. this isn't about whether he gave some people cash award or reward to start some petty trading, this is about him respecting the laws he has vowed to uphold. don't forget, he is supposed to be a lawmaker and not a law breaker. So if he has nothing to hide, why not appear before the CCT and dazzle his opponents with his innocence. Hope you get my drift bro. That Faruq Lawan did worse does not mean that we should continue to allow such to happen. who is going to clean up our mess for us anyway, the Americans, or aren't we tired of living in the stone age? 1 Like |
