Nope. It means Saraki was just lucky and he has resolved his issues

Saraki should go face the panel if he knows what he did was right, and stop fooling himself nd the PDP backing him up,or better still, he should just resign if he's guilty

Ladies and gentlemen,

The fact that The number 3 citizen of Nigeria could be arraigned in a tribunal, win or lose,is a victory for democracy and the rule of law.

A big indication that there MIGHT be no sacred cow in the fight against corruption!

LONG LIVE THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA!

So many avenue for saraki to hide himself don't worry your self.
Let's see the out come of the court tomorrow.

Ioannes:

this isn't about "Almighty", this is about the rule of law.

this isn't about whether he dug a miserable borehole somewhere, this is about our integrity as a nation.

this isn't about whether he gave some people cash award or reward to start some petty trading, this is about him respecting the laws he has vowed to uphold.

don't forget, he is supposed to be a lawmaker and not a law breaker. So if he has nothing to hide, why not appear before the CCT and dazzle his opponents with his innocence.

Hope you get my drift bro.
That Faruq Lawan did worse does not mean that we should continue to allow such to happen. who is going to clean up our mess for us anyway, the Americans, or aren't we tired of living in the stone age?

Rather than defending yourself at the CCT, you are using one court against another. Your desperation means that your hands cannot be clean!

What is bad in it bro? You talk as if the CCT has the final say in this matter!! Dont forget this case would end up in the supreme court!! If you finish this case before 2019,you are lucky

Politics doesn't work that way especially when the president and your party are against you. Saraki is a politician and he knows the implication of being charged and that's why he fought tooth and nail to prevent being arraigned on corruption charges. Once charged, there would be several calls that he should resign and clear his name. He can't be answering charges of corruption and at the same time presiding over a peaceful senate. His authority will be eroded, his camp polarized and the so called power attached to senate presidency exposed as nothing more than illusion.

Once charged tomorrow, it's over for Saraki. He may make a political comeback in the future but not in this dispensation.

You people just keep making so many useless and stupid assumptions!! When Tambuwal was taken to court over the defaction suit was his camp paralysed? Getting a 2/3 senate majority needed to impeach Saraki is virtually impossible that is why Buhari is exploring the more arduos route of the CCT

You need to understand that Tambuwal was never arraigned on corruption charges. Defection from one party to another is at best a political issue if not entirely a civil case. Corruption charges are criminal in nature. To make it more clearer, if you lose a defection case, you lose your seat and nothing more. If you lose a corruption case, you stand a chance of being imprisoned.

Tambuwal did not defect until he realized the president was too weak to do anything meaningful to him. He was neither here nor there. Throughout his tenure there was not a single case of scandal against him. Saraki is answering charges bordering on embezzlement of public funds. He has alienated all the bigwigs of his party, he is not in good terms with the president, he has no immunity, and you are talking of 2/3 majority? Who told you a 2/3 majority today will still be 2/3 majority tomorrow?

Whether defection or corruption, the same legal process would be employed with all the attendant technicalities and tactical delays!! This case would still be in court two years from now.Getting 2/3 majority in this polarized senate is virtuall impossible.APC's majority is too slim and they are not even united.

There is a difference between a civil and a criminal case. Once a leader is enmeshed in a corruption case to the point of being charged, and such a leader has no immunity, his authority is eroded and his power base will be QUICKLY polarized. This is not a theory; it's common sense. You don't have to even believe me, you only have to watch events of the next few weeks.

Take a moment to reflect. In Nigeria where politicians defect on any slight opportunity, what exactly does a powerless Saraki offer? What does he have to keep his base? You think politicians have permanent friends? They will support a Saraki that has been shown to be nothing than a mere illusion? Someone who may be on his way to prison? Politicians are all out to protect their individual interests.

Where are those Nigerians who appeared in their large numbers on this Forum to defend Saraki, their colleague in looting Nigeria?

They talked about absence of Minister and Attorney General's Signature. Talked about No warrant of Arrest. Talked about unqualified Deputy Director in the Justice Ministry.

What else would they talk about with the Rulings today in all the 3 Federal Courts.

Each day I wake-up, I thank God for the Defeat of Jonathan and the PDP by the very Reasonable and Vigilant Nigerians, especially from the South-West.

This is Saraki, a man the EFCC has had his case since he left office as Governor, used the Senate and the PDP to block the EFCC, maneuvered himself into Senate Presidency to block any possible attempt at his investigation and prosecution by any Government. Then, when the prosecution eventually came, he stupidly thought he could hoodwink Nigerians that are far more educated and learned than his little and wasted MBBS Degree.

The smart Lawyers around him have used the opportunity to rigmarole him around the Courts and extorted some big chunk out of his pocket, full of looted Kwara State Revenue.

He thinks the Judges at the CCT, Abuja High Court and the Appellate Court are not Intelligent. The 3 Courts would so mess him up to the extent that he would flee Nigeria immediately after release from Prison in 2025 (10 years, that's what the Criminal would get).

His Prison Time Sentence should be doubled for using Federal Government Resources to evade Arrest and Prosecution.

In a short while from now he will have his cap removed, get a clean shave and some white stuff to put-on and sit in one corner of a small prison room for some years, and enjoy plots Numbers this and that located at Victoria Island and Ikoyi Lagos, or Abuja.

Hardened Criminal!

Is that what you were taught in the Medical School? Looting of Public Revenue?

Tell Nigerians how much you've made from Medical Practice and how many Patients you've Managed since graduation.

His Prison time has come so that the WAR ON CORRUPTION (WAC) can start in full gear for the Birth of the Long Awaited New Nigeria that must surely come - trusting in the Determination of our New President.

I agree with Buhari, that HD Awolowo did not live a little longer to witness A NEW NIGERIA
