White people in general are racist, but Eastern Europeans are the worst. It's a shame that Africans get punked by these motherphuckers. I hate Eastern Europeans with perfect hatred especially for what they did to Tonia Okojie some months ago. And the annoying part of it all is that these whites will say oh we aren't the ones who hate you it's the "Jews". As if there's any difference between them and those devilish, Zionist imposters.

I agree that most white people have very negative views in regards to blacks (that they created themselves). I don't have exact statistical evidence but I once read somewhere that 75% of whites have negative views in regards to blacks (this is the case in many Western nations). So it means 1 out of every 4 do not. LOL quite low percentage numbers if you ask me. But it seems that way. There are some genuinely good white people out there, but a lot of them seem to pretend to like you only to backstab you with lies a lot.

Most of white people's hatred comes from what they hear in the household.

It's very sad what happened with Tonia Okojie.

I wasn't making excuses. I was sharing an experience/story. We don't know the OP's name.
Another excuse. Even if he/she is a Muslim the airport official are very unprofessional by forcing the baggage on him/her not only that but claiming to have a video oh the person in question dropping it. Jeez!

Easter Europeans aren't that civilized as the Westerners though. I am not surprised to see something like this emanating from that region.

Lol, unprofessional, you say? It's nowhere near an unbelievable account with respect to airport treatment of travelling Muslims (or anyone that appears to be one, i.e, Hindus and Sikhs, etc). Now if it were otherwise, I'd be genuinely surprised.

Hypocracy of the highest order.

Racism will always exist just like tribalism

You aren't smart at all. Does that justify the action of the airport officers?

The blacks destroyed racism with rap music.
90% of the whites in America call other whites "NIGGA"
now tell me if it's still racist to call a black Nigga, when all the whites call other whites Nigga.

Tell that to people who haven't traveled out of Nigeria.
Racism died a long time ago

Did u not hear of charleston killings. Racism still exists especially in the towns maybe not as much in cities.

What of police profiling is that not racism

I wouldn't call that racism though. True you were singled out out cos you were probably the most likely to be the one that dropped the bag. This is normal. This is referred to as PROFILING. There are different types of profiling is different situations and you surely fit in this case cos of your colour. There is Racial profiling, Social profiling, Religious profiling, Ethnic profiling etc.

Sorry about the inconvenience bro. They should have tendered an apology. Racism is real though.

Racism is not new but I understand how you feel. You simply paid for the sins of our brothers who have tarnished the image of our color but I'm glad you didn't make any trouble n that's mature. Just move on bro

The crimes committed by our black brothers and sisters around the world is not an excuse for the repulsive attitude from white idiots towards black people.

If we are to judge white people today on the basis of their forefathers crimes, the crime of white people around the world is enough for every white person to be lynched around the world.

White people are freaking racists. It's only few among them that are not and even the fews still have a soft spot for racism in them. I have lived all my life with them and i know what i am talking about.

I went for a job induction with a new company and as soon as i drove into the car park, i noticed few white staff standing in the car park where visitors allotted parking spaces were.

The look and the question on their faces was pretty much obvious and of course the same; "Where on earth does he get the money to buy that car for God sake".

I swear down, the look on their ugly faces reeks of nothing at that present moment but instant hate towards me and that instantly informed the reason why i knew that something was about to happen. Having lived with these idiots for years, I knew they would still come back for me and they did Jesus Christ.

Having lived with these people for so long, I knew at that Job induction that they were still coming for me. And to my greatest surprise, they didn't disappoint me; they came for me with an excuse that my car was blocking the entrance to the car park. They asked me to move my car and look for a parking space outside the company premises. I felt disgusted and Nigeria spirit in me came alive with full venom....

I shouted and displayed full madness that day. I shouted on them so much so that the HR manager started shaking.......

They couldn't stand me all through my years there as much as I couldn't stand them too. They couldn't look at my face since that first day till i left to start my own business.....

My business was established as a result of racism' experience.

Rubbish - there is no excuse for racism. The real sins were committed by whites stealing, raping, torturing, murdering and enslaving countless millions of Africans. If anyone should be a victim of racism, it should be the whites not their victims.

Perhaps! Sometimes you might know your rights but can't be able to defend them and get yourself out of the lies or blackmail. There are some situation where you don't have evidence to prove otherwise that's when you see innocent people who know their rights ending up in jail. It is not all about knowing one's right alone. The world is a horrible place and people who are helpless need to be very careful.

My Nigga.
That's not even racism.
When you see a real racism, you won't be able to narrate your ordeal to anyone.
The just wanna see your ID & make sure you wasn't the one who dropped the bag.

If that wasn't racism then why was he suspected out of d whole lot to be the owner of the baggage? Let's stop justifying the wrong actions of these white pple, what is wrong is wrong. Just a single racist comment from Suarez to Evra(don't know if u wtch football) made Evra report to FA n Suarez faced d music. And u see this public embarassment as nothing? If we don't fight against racial discrimination, be it in d smallest form, then we are worsening matters. I believe if he takes the right step n report to d right authorities, no black will be treated this way again in that airport. Yes, the whites are nice pple no doubt, but we should condemn their wrong deeds when they are wrong.

Racism is alive and well.
I would always advise any and every black person to grow a thick skin.
i have witnessed subtle discrimination and obvious discrimination.

There is no solution to racism and tribalism.

The only problem i have is when i see white folks being treated like demi gods by Nigerian people when they are in Nigeria.
It makes me really really sick and angry when i see my Nigerian brothers and sisters give preference to a white man in Nigeria before they even look my face or your face.

Blacks have to unite.
That is the only way!
Lets stand as one.

I might hate you but if i see you getting harassed by a white man, i will jump in quickly to your rescue.
whenever i read cases of white employers maltreating and physically abusing Nigerian employers In Nigeria, it really makes me wonder!
Can't their Nigerian colleagues jump in and save them?

Blacks especially black Africans suffer from inferiority complex in their interactions with whites. Couple of years ago I flew into Lagos from Atlanta on Delta airlines and they misplaced my luggage, so I went to the airport the next day. The oyinbo delta agent at the airport was just ignoring all our questions about our luggage and ordering the Nigerian staffs around like dogs, I was so pissed I started yelling on the dude to produce my luggage or else. And my fellow passengers and the Naija staffs were looking at me like, this guy is brave o talking to oyinbo like that. cheesy

Racism is intentionally preventing someone from getting employment because of their race. Or by intentionally not giving them a loan because of the color of their skin. Prejudice is just not liking them, and even if I was prejudice towards them, I'm not in any position to ruin their careers or livelihoods. Racism on the other hand, can have that effect. That's the difference.

This is an incredibly shallow worldview. It is clear you're uninformed on the topic, so rather than engage you in it, I'd advice that you acquaint yourself better with it.

Polish people can be quite racist(I have met a few growing up who were nice though and hung with africans), I had to leave my old job because of the new Polish manager. He tried to pick on the blacks at work, very condescending too, reported to the general manager, but it was like I was yearning dust. Abegi, money nor go make some dirty person come think say dey betta pass me.

It was before my departure, I was patiently queuing about to board a flight from Katowice (Poland) to Eindhoven (Netherlands) at 07.15 am. While waiting, I was approached by a male employee who asked me about an unknown baggage found somewhere around the airport, I courteously replied that its not mine and I suggested that he should make a public announcement about it before passengers began to board the aircraft. When it was my turn to board, I approached the passenger service assistant and gave him my ID and mobile boarding pass but to my dismayal, he explicitly stated that I will not be allowed to board while asking me to wait at the corner for his boss to handle the situation. He wouldn’t listen to my subsequent plea as he rudely separated me from the curiously observing queuers, as I waited for the arrival of his supposed boss.

Three minutes later, the middle-aged boss arrived and as expected, collected my ID and interrogated me with the same question asked by the previous vicenarian employee, I repeatedly told him that I knew nothing about the baggage but he wouldn’t accept this as the truth. He further claimed that I was caught on camera dropping the bag and he would release the video to me if I keep denying, I was amazingly shocked at such magnitude of lie against me. I ask if I could see the video, wondering if I was mistaken for someone else, He agreed to show me but inferred that I wont be able to board the flight because after the nitty-gritty, the plane would be late on arrival, then its was dawm on me that this is getting serious. I replied angrily that if I miss my flight, I would sue the legal-person(s) involved. On hearing this, he immediately facilitated my boarding and directed me to the boarding gate. I asked again if I could see the video where I was caught dropping the baggage but he refused and reminded me that I am delaying the flight, in an attempt to diverge my pending questions. I was vehemently mortified. As I entered the plane from the front door, I noticed the fear and irritation gripping the passengers due to my chagrin. I approached to my assigned seat number, the passenger next to me wanted to be sure if I should be sitting close to her, as she was scared. I have never been publicly humiliated to this extent before. Throughout the whole trip, I was filled with so much anger, being victimized, guilt, and disregard. I wondered why I was handpicked and accorded such degrading treatment; I strongly believed it’s because of my phenotypically dark skin as I am the only ''non white'' on the flight, since no public announcement was made to inform if someone misplaced the baggage.

I have been a denizen in Poland and I have never experienced such degrading treatment throughout my time there. This treatment created a deep hole in my heart and brought to my awareness the reserved prejudice deeply rooted in the heart of the airport workers who ganged up and treated me so unfairly due to my dark skin. It is expected of public workers to be competent with customer’s relation skills, especially in airport serving passengers from all parts of the world. This experience has made me unnecessarily sensitive as I was made to tacitly understand I would have to prove my innocence if I’m unluckily present in any mix-up situation, that I will be assumed guilty by default with the burden of proving myself innocent resting on me, that this experience is but a mere trigger of an existing presupposition. The most painful part is that my feelings were completely ignored and at the very least of my expectation, no apologies issued to the aggrieved.

I am writing this letter without prejudice, and all I ask for is that the necessary authorities should equip its employees with customer relationship skills and method in reaching coherent conclusions without subjecting anyone to an inhumane treatment, and also as a deterrent from this happening to subsequent passengers.

Have you written to the airport management authority, if that was me my lawyer would be unto them the next 2 working days.

I stopped taking racism very seriously a long time ago doesn't affect my person as I know it is in the nature and heart of men but when it comes to addressing racist incidents I'm very effective at that I actually enjoy it
