Humans are spirit beings; even when the body dies and return to the dust, the soul lives on, awaiting judgement...If the spirit is condemned after God's judgement, it will be thrown into the lake of fire for final destruction. But the souls of the righteous would be given new bodies (Not flesh and blood this time, but glorious bodies like that of Jesus after resurrection) and the power to live for eternity!

lake of fire is not a symbol of anything. at the time of eternal punishment in hell. death will be no more, the victims of hell would be in perpetual pain but will not die physically. there are several scriptures in biblical exegenisis that talks about a lake of fire expressly or sometimes implied in Jesus' words;

The Bible made us to believe that this our mortal body will definitely die and decompose in the earth which is true because people have been dying and their bodies decompose in the soil. Now my question is:
"if truly our bodies would die and decompose to soil, what will then burn in the said 'Hell fire'?"

Adam, Eve, the people of old old testament prophets before jesus' death have already been immortalised and judged and have been to heaven or hell, they are no longer in the grave. Those who died without hearing about jesus will be judged by their conscience or the law romans 2:12-14. I have done an extensive researched online before coming to make posts.

Just so you know the confused one here is the watchtower, jesus was clear when he said;

...Depart from me ye cursed into everlasting fire..

Rev 20:14, death and hades cast into the lake of fire simply means that at that point they are no more (explained it to jesciha). Lake of fire is a literal term because we have a extensive list of scriptures that confirms that.

So when man dies, he, the man decays and exist no more.

During the creation of adam and his judgement, God told adam what he is and where he came from and where he is going.
Gen 2:7- "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Did you notice how simply understandable how that verse is?
Did you notice where man came from?
Did you notice how man became a living soul?.
Did you notice that man is not giving a soul, but that man himself is a soul.?
Did you notice that man is a soul cus he became alive? An animated flesh? A flesh that is alive?

Gen 3:19- In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."

Did you see that this verse is also simple?
Did you see where God told man he came from?
Did you see where God told adam he will return to?
That verse clearly explains that man, him, his verry self , the one that engaged in a conversation with God , will return to dust, for he is dust!.
I dnt know why this is hard to accept. I dnt know you'll go contrary to what God called man and what will happen to him at death.

Good, first, for all those who believe that man is a spirit in a body, paulgrundy has just shown that you are wrong, and if you cannot directly quote him and refute his statement on this thread, it just shows who you really are.

Back to the issue , just like the body issue, you did not state where the spirit goes to when man dies. So going by ur statement, it means they go nowhere! the spirit and the body go nowhere, hence the two things that makes man s living soul goes nowhere. You quoted a scripture and not explain it , maybe you know that explaining it will give you out.

What is "perishable" as said in verse 53 and 54, the soul or the body.?

You can see how you try to twist things, you try to make us feel that immortality here is for the soul. Hence you refused to add further explanation. Before I go into those verses , ur statement and the scripture you quoted shows that as at this moment, you do not have an immortal soul. Wonder why God will give one an immortal soul after death just to purnish him eternally.

So you can see with ur eyes that the verse you quoted is talking about the body during resurrection. That the body will not be flesh and blood. That those to receive these immortal bodies will be those who will go to heaven .
These brings about the question, will those who will go to hell fire go to heaven first.? If not , then how will they become immortal.

Again , you fail to use the scripture to support ur views.
Now it is no longer the soul that burns in hell , it is the immortal body . One wonders. When you will hold on to one view and keep it , cus u initially said its the soul that burns, now its the body.

You have so far failed to show where it is said in the scriptures that the unrighteous will be giving immortal bodies. Or are you saying the unrighteous will be ressurected before the rapture? Or that those who have not died will be changed , both righteous and unrighteous.? Ill like to hear ur reply on these, and pls add scripture for proof.

You say the soul is in control of mans consciouness.

A mad man thus has a mad soul right? A mad man can be treated , or rather his consciousness adjusted with the use of drugs and other physical procedures, these are all physical and have physical effects. For example , the drugs are not for the soul , but for the physical body, enabling the body to produce complex chemicals, enzymes and proteins that will affect the persons consciousness. These drugs can also determine our moods. As there are drugs that can make u well, there are drugs that that can affect ur consciousness and run you mad totally and completely. Our body condition determines our consciouness.
You have heard about how some sugar affect children and they start giggling. So unless our body is being affected upon by an external force eg spirit forces, what you see, hear, feel , touch , smell(all physical and controlled by the flesh) determines how you think, what you think about, ur knowledge and ur consciousness. No wonder the scriptures says that when you die, when ur brain stops functioning, you loss all consciousness. So unless you agree that the soul is a living fleshly body, you will have to give a better statement than the one you gave above.

Good ,good you say one goes to hades and not to hell before resurrection, can you give us the hebrew and Greek word for "hell" as stated in the scriptures so we can know that the word "hell" is different from the words "hades " and "sheol".
Note : if it is found out that the mean the same thing or the hebrew and Greek word for hell is different. You will have to find another answer for question 3A which states: If you do not go to hell untill after the resurrection, where will one be before the ressurection.?

Note again: if you say man does not go to hell untill after ressurection, it means nobody or soul is burning anywhere at these verry moment!. Hope others are noting this too.
