Governor Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa state is to appoint an Igbo man as one of his special advisers.

Bindow made this known, on Thursday, while playing host to groups who visited him homage to mark Eid-el-Kabir, in Government House, Yola.

He said that the appointment would demonstrate national unity for all Nigerians, regardless of their socio-cultural background.

According to him, he would appoint an Igbo man as his adviser, owing to the fact his administration must be an inclusive one

The governor urged the people to pray for the state and his administration to achieve its vision.

He also sought prayers for President Muhammadu Buhari to achieve his vision of rebuilding the Nigeria of our dream.

Bindow said that his administration had surmounted the challenge of owing workers’ salaries.

He said that his administration would continue to prioritise regular and prompt payment of workers’ salaries.

He said that his administration was waiting for bailout funds to clear all the pending salary arrears owed to workers in the state.

We are watching closely.... its long overdue. Every sane leader who has the interest of his people at heart must learn to play beyond ethno-religious lines. Adamawa needs mixed breed of economic professionals to map a vision for the states economy. So far the state has thrived only relying on few Atiku's major establishments and the numerous business men and women of the Igbo decent. This tribe are unquestionably the economic fulcrum of adamawa state at the moment. Kudos to the governor. I don't know what becomes of the slaves that have been chanting "Sai baba mai mongoro" since 2007 with nothing to show for their foolishness. Murtala Nyako was the Ebola in human form for adamawa pple.
