Saraki Vs Buhari's Ministerial Nominations by egift(m): 1:41pm On Sep 26, 2015 |
Following the current travails of Saraki in the Code of Conduct Tribunal, I have heard some folks brag how Saraki and those that support him in the Red Chamber, will use it as an opportunity to fight back at President Buhari for not intervening to protect him from prosecution and also against the APC leadership for being poised to replace him. My take is that Saraki and his gang can do nothing to frustrate President Buhari's nominations more than due diligence within the purview of their constitutional mandate. In fact, any day Saraki becomes a stumbling block to the wheel of governance in Nigeria, he will understand that the stoning in Kwara is insignificant compared to what the Nigeria masses will do to him. As it stands now, Saraki will pass any law and nominations of President Buhari very swiftly in a desperate efforts to stay afloat and seek favour from the Presidency and Nigerians in general. By now most Nigeria politicians should have realied that our collective development in Nigeria is far more important and beyond the greedy quest of people like Saraki and his crew, in hiding their past illegalities and cling on to power at the expense of everyone else. Any day he constitute himself a nuisance, he will be dealt with accordingly. The best thing Saraki can do now is to hire more lawyers to pursue his case at the CCT. Optionally, he can honorably step aside in order not to soil the image of the Upper Chamber as Nigerians cannot afford laws made from the Docks by alleged criminal. As Nigerians look forward to the President Ministerial List that will be announced in the next few days, we all believe that the gains and platforms the President has laboured to put in place in the last 3 months, will be improved upon with accelerated tempo. God bless Nigeria. 17 Likes 2 Shares |

Firefire:Oga, you don't dictate for anyone...mind you CCT tried tinubu in GEJs tenure, so?? If you have their files, go re-submit...after all, we are co-stakeholders to governance! You can't expect PMB to go after all files...let me sound it clear to you, it's not FG that's prosecuting Saraki, you hear PMB is concerned abt GEJs admin, cos it was the most extravagant and nothing tangible was achieved! Have you forgoten the #9bn stove ish? How abt #7bn to CAN OBJ chopped, yes! Buh he wasn't this leisserfaire and Clueless like GEJ 5 Likes |

Sparrow13:I like being factual!!what I wrote is the simple truth, as the colloquial saying goes "you do me,I do you, God no vex". Buhari was simply politically stupid going after the Senate President when he was yet to send the list of his ministerial nominees for clearance!! No wise politician does that!! |

Firefire: We want the case file of everyone to be re-open and re-investigated until there is nothing else to find in their cardboard. Be you in APC or PDP, it does not matter. What is important is that the politicians are made to be accountable for their actions and crime. Saraki should get his laws and get the best defense possible. If found wanting, he should bear his cross and keep the crocodile tears to himself. 4 Likes |

chukwudi44: You see your life nwokem. If Saraki is facing trial for the alleged crimes he committed, you will cry that state power is used against him. But here you are encouraging Saraki to use the power at his disposal to fight his imaginary enemies. Your patriotism is self-serving. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Beremx: I just feel the pains of having to provide amenities for myself after paying Lagos double taxes. You pay consumption tax You pay Income Tax You pay Laud Use Charge etc And you still provide water, road, etc. for yourself, where are the revenues going I get plenty fight with Tinubu, no be today. It started from when he created the additional 37 LCDAs and OBJ instructed us to boycott the LGA election. The painful thing is Tinubu ever since then rig the election from his bedroom despite all the money I spent sponsoring candidates. we go complete am another time. |

Something is telling me PMB will strike out Tinubu's candidates to avoid embarrassment at the senate. They gave him little opportunity to nominate southern ministers and he is already causing problems. |
