1. Turn off WiFi when not in use
2. Ensure you have 3G (WCDMA) only as your network type.
3. Reduce screen brightness. Allow Adaptive screen settings to take charge
4. Check your apps to make sure none is draining your battery when not in use
5. Turn off GPS and Bluetooth when not on use
6. I personally use an all black background with my weather app widget running though

This should help reduce consumption greatly.

It all depends on your usage. Heavy use 6-7 hours while average use may get you like 12 hours.

They all do. You might need to use the codes *#*#3646633#*#* dial it and it will take you to phone's engineering mode. When there, click on the telephony tab and scroll down. You will find the Network Type menu, select and change to WDCDMA only from whatever option you find there

That is not heavy usage, that is just a way to may sure ur ba3 drops from 100% to 0% in 1hr, congrats if that's ur situation. Nobody force you buy the phone

after u have chosen the sim to use, slide down the notification panel (swipe from the top of ur screen down twice to access quick settings) then click the icon that looks like a signal bar there u will see mobile data switch) #nobodysendyougobuyandroidone

Guy what crime did the battery commit that you would want to punish it like this.
Majorly heavy usage should involve surfing the network on 3G and listening to music or just playing HD game alone

I don't want to root my phone, I've been using it for over three weeks now and I have over 10gb of memory in my phone, my SD card is filled up yet I can't use my phone memory. This is too bad please give me a solution. I plan selling off this phone next week if I can't get an answer. Thank you all

if d usb option is MTP it should show ur phone storage.maybe u need 2 upgrade d rom.its gonna take us a while to adapt to androidone

sir plz 1st of all u're a bit whiny i had d same issue bt i followed blackiridis advice i deleted my guest mode,rebooted the phone and it started showin both d internal storage and d sd card whn connected 2 a pc and u can transfer anythn to either d internal storage or d sd card,also get d file commander app as recommended and ...plz stop threatening to sell d phone...u bought it..no one forced you to

if this is your idea of heavy usage, then I'm afraid you don't deserve to use a smart phone.

Then, for the guys having problems with their phones, sorry to say this, but your problems are merely newbie problems.
if you can't access your internal memory, simply wipe your phone and upgrade your phone if the problem persists.
