Change change change mantra we chanted, argued, shouted, defended even physically represented, because we were fed up with being in forced matrimony with corruption, mismanagement, impunity, disregard for rule of law,we wanted something different from the normal norm. We wanted change, so we fought for change like our lives depended on it, in contrast our lives depended on government policies to say the least. But Nigeria politics is in a whole different realm, where the number one priority of every sensible democratic government is taken for levity. Election as observed in other climes is a peaceful process of electing credible representation , but in Nigeria it is 'survival of the fittest' not credibility.
2015 election is historic not just because the ruling party lost to the opposition party after 16 years of being in control.
But because Nigerians stood up for what we believed in. Even though we were out rightly lied to, we just wanted change. So we stood for something. We realised we have the power to decide our own foreseeable destiny through the ballot box.
2015 is a historic year in Nigeria, it is a year of cleansing, party membership became the basis of sainthood. No Era in human history has seen such massive repentance and recognition of sainthood. I am sure if the Devil holds the party membership card of Apc he would be regarded a saint.
It worked like hypnotism, chant change and your sins would be forgiven even god ascribes punishments for sins, no outright forgiveness but I guess Apc's got a better and upgraded operating system (change).
Opposition party became the ruling party and we hoped for the best, in Apc we trust, days turned weeks, and the avoidable disaster of selfish interest amongst party members almost imploded the once envied party. We were cleared of our hypnosis, we now clearly see and understand sainthood is not bought on the platform of party membership. The great people of kwara are the first set of Nigerians to be cleared of such hypnosis, saraki dynasty is about to go bonkers. Nigerian spring is about to erupt.
If saraki is found guilty of the corruption charges levied against him, what does it say about the party he rode to victory on?
I honestly think Apc is an accidental formation not ready for leadership if it's anti corruption chant is just mere lip service.
