Back-stabbers! So upon all the noise they've made over Saraki, they too have been praying for his downfall. I thought they said they're solidly behind him and nothing will happen to him.

Bros, there is nothing like tall or short dream. Senate Leadership election is not the same as APC primaries. In this case, two things are involved. Either the 12 APC rebel Senators absent themselves from voting or they vote for the PDP candidate. Should they absent themselves, APC will be left with 47 candidates while PDP 49. Should they join forces, it will be worse for APC.
