you need to have heard the IGP spk about their rescue of Chief Falae. According to Arase, the president gave him marching orders to rescue the man and they are compelled to do same. He also said that no ransom was paid and he will not discuss how he was rescued which is top-secret!...we believed him...as always |

illitrate:Na your Papa born you. Don't mind those challenging your comment, they don't know any better. Same goes for the Falae guy who think emotion is any thing to rely upon for guidance. Talk is cheap you know. Moreover, too many secondary school leavers on nairaland, you know them by the way they curse. |

Keneking:Think a bit out of the box: state governments have been equipping federal police in the states for a long time since return to democracy in 1999. Because federal government just can't oversee all the police formations in wide wide Nigeria. Yet state governments cannot easily command federal police in their states for immediate action on states security. Guess why some state governors resorted to other forms of security operatives for their states in addition to federal police. But calls to return regional government system to zones for every state or region to have its police? Arewa people can't vote for that. Because under this unitary government system with the way Arewa soldiers created and allotted too many undue numbers of states and local government councils to northern Nigeria - that makes Arewa politicians smile home every federal allocation day, more than most southern politicians. Mimiko is not the only governor that resorted to use of extraordinary policing. Even some northern states governors use Hisbah religious police. |

illitrate:Your moniker tells it all,.... ILLITERATE. When did being truthful equate being an idiot? So, instead of the truth, you prefer to perpetuate the tales by moonlight of Solomon arase and his N50 roger collecting goons? Coming out with the truth does not in anyway encourage kidnappers, just as concealing the truth doesn't discourage kidnapping. IGP claiming in public that the police rescued Falea is the height of official irresponsiblity,.....he should be shown the way out of the Force. |

I m terribly surprised by this revelation, how on earth will Falae's family go behind the police and pay ransom for chief Olu Falae's release? this singular behaviour is an indication that there was an ugly scene behind his abduction which the family refused to bring to the public. |

95% - 99% of the time ransom is paid hence the business of kidnapping thrives to the point even foreign based Nigerians engage in it, right now people do thanksgiving in church after ransom is paid and the victim released because many have paid and the victims died and were buried just like that. |

Is good as the family member spread the truth because you will see those who will remain stubborn to kiddnapers just because of the news they hard about falea and there by loss their love one to the hand of kiddnapers. Let Nigeria police be trained and equip to track phone call. |
