pickabeau1:It was clear that our loss yesterday was the keepers fault.... Their defense wasn't perfect, our defense was way better than theirs but their keeper was extremely good |

redgem:We shouldn't be comparing our defense to the quality of OLYMPIAKOS no offense to the Greek warriors but the pair of Gibbs and Bellerin were horrendous and irresponsible, we can play better than we did that's for sure, the back line has to be disciplined without possession. As for Ospina, I remain one of his fan irrespective of last night, everyone has a bad night. |

proudlysports:I thought you know football... arsenal was average and we were called boring boring arsenal... we were wining 1-0 and playing for draws until Arsene Wenger showed up... for arsenal to be seeded in the champions league it's all down to him... tottenham would give an arm and a leg to be were we are... he single handedly converted our finances from gbese to one of the top ten richest football club in the world... without a sugar daddy... the greatest team of the last ten years... uefalona had their drought period... wining nothing in La liga... for a while... so my friend... you're asking the wrong questions... how many managers would agree to coach arsenal without transfer fees to sign players... I know Mourinho wouldn't coach us... until we cleared our debt last year... the last ten years we used in paying for the Emirates stadium... how many managers would agree to coach our team... ever asked why Roberto Martinez left wigan...?! they needed to sell their best players to offset their debts... wonder why Bolton isn't in the premier league or why Big Sam left...?! they needed to sell to buy... we needed to sell to buy and offset bills... we managed fourth position... played in the champions league for cash flow and you spew rubbish... Piers Morgan is a fucking journal... what do you expect from him... his job is to create controversy... if Arsene Wenger is so bad... Bayern Munich and Real Madrid or the national team of France wouldn't be looking to him to manage their team... You get most of your news from untold arsenal... how much adulation do they throw at the feet of Wenger...? If you're a fan... you're a fan... if you do not buy season ticket or never contributed financially to the club... you've got nothing to lose... there's the door... stop being a fan... |

we've haven't spent half the season... we've haven't completed a quarter of a season and people are already tagging the team a failure... human fucking beings and their shitty memory... too fast to forget... |

iPopAlomo:Lol. On top simple question I asked? ![]() Yesterday's defeat must still be hitting you hard. I've moved on. What's untold Arsenal btw? Arsene may have done all you said but he's going to leave Arsenal one day isn't he? So let's go back to my question, say he leaves today (or whenever ), would you hire a manager with similar record. Like I said, serious and honest question ![]() |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iPopAlomo(m): 1:52pm On Sep 30, 2015 |
proudly9ja:Which manager has a similar record...?! why do you think he's respected...?! Arsenal being Arsenal would employ an unproven manager... that's for sure... besides... your opinion doesn't count... my opinion definitely don't count too... but to answer your I'll advised question... would arsenal sign a reincarnate of Arsene Wenger... yes they would... now you answer my question... which manager would agree to sign for arsenal knowing there would be no transfer fees...?! |

redgem:I beg to disagree with your take about his performance against Zagreb, the first goal was a through pass from Soudani(I think it was Soudani)to the left of the box, Ox lost track of Pavaric who was already through, Ospina actually made the first save but it was a bang-bang play, a freaky scramble and the ball rebounded off the OX thus an own goal..there was absolutely nothing Ospina could do in that situation except hope for luck, if OX had tracked the scorer. The second goal was a corner kick which is the most difficult to save for any goalie, again Fernades was able to run ahead of Kos who was left second best to a free header. Ospina made some very important saves in that game especially when we when down, we would have lost by 3. You don't underestimate the impact of a red card, it puts pressure on the team to defend and depending on the situation of the game and the intelligence of the opponent exposes the team, in this instance we were chasing the game away from home. I am not defending Ospinas performance last night but it was not entirely on him, the defense was horrible. P.S: welcome aboard the thread. |

Roland17:I think I know a lot about football.... I know what the impact of red card can cause but Psg had a red card against Chelsea last championship game but they won the match... We just don't have the gingering spirit... We play like we are winning even though we are actually loosing *Modified* Thanks |

redgem:I have never questioned your knowledge of the game, if anything your passion for the crest should be admired. If we lack players with mental toughness, leadership and who detest losing with a passion, wouldn't a red card against us become a factor that decides matches? No team wants to go a man down.. |

redgem:Man shitty lost, chelshit lost... manure lost... is their champions league season over...?! we played tottenham on Wednesday, two days later we play an high intensity game with leicester... and in tuesday... we play champions league with a well rested side... The only time I agree with Mourinho is when he said as soon as we have three English team in the champions league they would wake up... whoever fix the fixture in England is a bastard... |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Keky(m): 2:30pm On Sep 30, 2015 |
One damming fact against Wenger is the level of players we're bringing in is better but we're not improving. Wenger should respectfully walk away at the end of the season. But he won't.

Roland17:What I'm saying is, a red card shouldn't kill the spirit of winning.... Don't give up until it's over... We lack what you listed above that's why red cards always have a strong impact on our games |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by redgem(f): 2:36pm On Sep 30, 2015 |
iPopAlomo:Lol.... Because they lost doesn't mean we should join them... Chelsea were loosing yesterday but they still played well... They had the equalizing spirit but didn't make it.... We lacked that spirit I noticed that each person's were after scoring no team work in our match yesterday |
